Their legs dangled over the side of the dock, his arm around his waist and her head on his shoulder, occasionally receiving small pecks on the forehead from him. Both were silent, just gazing at the sky. Stargazing was a bit cheesy, but neither cared, they simply were just enjoying each other's presence. The moment felt perfect. But as nothing can really be perfect, there was one downside.
It was freezing.
And Emma was wearing a sleeveless dress.
It didn't go unnoticed. Killian felt her trembling.
"Love, are you cold?" He asked considerately.
"I'm fine." Emma replied.
"Are you sure? You're shivering."
"No I'm not."
"You're cold."
"I'm fine."
Of course she was lying. She knew he was a gentlemen and was going to give her his leather jacket. As much as she wanted a jacket at the moment, she still did not want him to give her his-it would make her feel bad.
Suddenly the chill on her skin disappeared as the warm leather was draped over her shoulders. Emma turned her head to face Killian.

"I told you I was fine."
"That excuse isn't working today, darling." He smirked.
"I've adapted to cooler temperatures in my days at sea. You need it much more than I do."
With that she finally accepted the jacket by leaning in and placing her lips on his.

"Thank you."
