Chapter one "Dragons"

Hi, it's Vanessa and Caroline, I'm trying to get Caroline to believe that dragons aren't real, I mean its scientifically proven that they aren't real, they were extinct in the 17 hundreds.

"Hey Vanessa, do you wanna meet my new dragon, Drogo? I could probably get you one too." She said.

"How many times have I told you dragons aren't real?" I ask.

"10 million times." she says.

"Probably!" I say. "Fine! I'll play along just get me a dragon, and soon!" I command.

                                                                    (Ten Minutes Later...)

"Hey I got your dragon!" Caroline says, I shoot her a look.

"Really?" I say raising one eyebrow.

"Yeah, his name is Bloodsworth and he's a Deadly Nadder, mine's a Night Fury." she says.

"Yay." I sarcastically say, then I look out the window.

"It's snowing!" I shout.

"Sweet!" she says.

"If you're such a dragon expert than you should know that's not good, dragons like to hibernate in the winter, Yay!" I say.

"Hey!" She yells.

"I'm sorry for not liking dragons but they're so..." I say.

"Cool?" she asks "You can fly in the air and just feel the breeze through your hair." she says dreamily.

"Yeah, that's cool and all but I like hanging out with Brandon." I say and she looks at me.

"Get your mind off of that stupid boy he's NOT cute!" she yells.

"I'm sorry, I can't help that he's the hottest boy in school." I say.

"I am going to take that idea out of your head and make Drogo EAT it!" Caroline yells.

"You can't do that because dragons don't eat memories, they aren't real Caroline." I say, just then I hear an adorable roar, I look behind me to see, what do you know, Deadly Nadder!

"Um, hi Bloodsworth." I say, and he's already fast asleep.

"Guess you where right, Vanessa." she says.

"When will it wake up?" I ask.

"In about a week." she says.

"Oh, okay." I say

                                                         (One Week Later)

I awake this morning to the sound of loud roars.

"Ah!" I scream as I sit up on my bed to see a small dragon staring up at me.

"Roar!" Bloodsworth yells.

"Vanessa, come on its time for school!" My mom yells up the stairs, I stuff Bloodsworth in my back pack and tell him to keep quiet, I brush my hair and teeth and get dressed, of course and I grab a piece of toast and run out to the bus, I see Caroline and I sit down next to her...

"Hey, about this dragon..." I say.
