The school was the same, looking out the window watching the same cars drive by, the same business people with the same faces on. My attention wasn't on my empty Maths book or the teacher clicking his mouse to show a new page of questions and graphs. It was on how dead this world is, how lonely everyone is till they find the right person. Why? I thought to myself Why am I so alone right now? the bell rang for the end of school and I stood up leaving my Maths book behind to be collect by the TA. I got the same sneers, glares and remarks from the same people. Worthless, immature children... I stood by the bus stop, rain falling, I had to stand under those cold drops while a group of laughing friends sat in the shelter. I tensed up feeling a cold drop go down my back. My back felt wet from that one drop of water. The bus pulled up and sat still the air blowing my jacket part way. I walked over behind the group of friends, I stepped forward but tripped landing in a puddle. The bus doors closed as I stood up, missed.. I'd walk home in the rain, huh? I thought and turned walking into the city centre. I walked in the back looking around, I climbed up the steps, not caring that I was being watched by a security camera. They could try and catch me if they wanted, I would be dead before they would catch me. I dropped my bag by the top step walking towards the edge, already I heard yelling and loud trampling foot steps. I turned standing on the edge, watching the the two heads of police officers running up. "Stop!" I yelled my eyes staring straight at them. "Get away from there!" the taller police officer yelled, holding up his gun. "Either way I die you pointless son of a b---" I stopped myself, if I were to survive my fall I wouldn't want to be seen as a bad mouthed kid. I stood on edge looking down at the street below, people were stopping pointing and so were cars. Worthless people would stop to watch someone suffer. I looked at the sky, the rain still pouring down. "Show me if there is someone out there for me!" I yelled holding out my arms. "Let me live when I jump... If I die then there is no one!" I yelled once more. The two officers behind me yelled, out for me to stop as I took my step forward. I felt my body fall forward as I went down, my heart had dropped from the sudden fall. My heart was pounding, as I closed my eyes. I felt a smack against the floor, and hands. Hands.... Strangers hands... I smacked my hip against the hard concrete floor, and felt some people lay me on my back. I kept my eyes closed, was I still alive? Or was I feeling things before my death? "Someone call an ambulance! The kid is still breathing!" a woman yelled, the rain stopped but I could still hear the patter of rain drops, I opened my eyes faintly. There was a man, a business man, the one who pushed me out of his way a few weeks ago... Holding an umbrella above me. I closed my eyes again, wincing as someone touched my hip. This pain... This pain, I am still.. alive?..

Months passed and I never did a cruel stunt like that again. I just lay in my bed, not bothering with food, not bothering with a shower even, just lying there on my old laptop talking on a chat room. I felt less alone when he was on, he was my one thing I wanted to live for, but was scared about in case it ended to soon and I was alone again. "So? Tell me do you have a webcam?" he asked a message popping up. "Yeah, do you?" I asked hitting send quickly. I wanted to prove myself, I'm not scared, I'm not depressed. "How about we talk for a bit?" he asked, I bit my bottom lip, unsure but I gulped down my coke cola, and typed down a three letter word: "Yes" I brushed my hair which had gotten long since my fall only past my shoulders, I pulled it back in a pony tail trying to hide the fact that I hadn't bathed for days. I put on a clean baggy top avoiding my bones being on show, and put on a jacket as well. I pulled my hood on my head looking down as I heard the webcam pop up. "Hey" I heard his voice, it was smooth, strong and calming. I spoke after a minute and smiled faintly. "Hi.." I heard a chuckle from the other side. "I can't see your face, Shay, c'mon lift your head up" I knew he smiling before I even looked up. I could feel my mouth drop a bit, he was handsome... The dark short hair, those eyes and those light pale lips, a strong face... He was... I gulped and looked back down, somewhat nervous then scared. "I should start calling you Shy Shay" he chuckled and I heard a tapping sound causing me to lift up my head. He was tapping his laptop with a pen in his hand I could see clearly. "It's our first time seeing each other..." I mumbled softly, my voice was soft and low, I hated it. "Yeah? I don't care, I like talking to you" he smiled at me and tilted his head sideways as if he was trying to look at me. "Spencer..." I giggled and covered my mouth, he looked at me and started pulling faces. "You know, you're almost 17 and it is summer, wanna come over here?" he asked. "But, Spencer, I don't have the money!" I gasped, uncovering my mouth. "Then I'll buy your ticket! I wanna meet you for real now that I've seen your face and heard your voice" he nodded his head with a small smile on his lips. He leant forward into the webcam, face all serious. "Shay, tell me has anyone touched those lips?" he asked, his tone was like a business's man. "No, no one has..." I admitted shame and looked down. "Good, I wanna be your first" I lifted my head up on hearing those words. "It's been 6 months---" I started but he cut me off "Don't give me that, your cheeks are red and your eyes... When you saw me you are feeling the same.." he smiled at me. I nodded my head looking downwards, I was nervous, I was.... inlove...

I clutched my suitcase in my hands, any harder I might bend the handle. I looked around, America... I was busy, but bright... Only I didn't see Spencer as I scanned the heavy crowd. This was stupid! I though looking downwards. Why? I though again walking to the waiting area, He isn't here. I counted my feet for a few minutes walking down the steps. "Shay..." I heard a voice and lifted my head up, feeling a hand on my shoulder. "Spenc---" I turned around and was greeted by a gently hug, Spencer's strong arms around my lower back pulling me to him. "Shay" he whispered in my ear making my heart flutter, I put my free hand on his shoulder, closing my eyes. His body was warm, so nice. "Shay, I was waiting an hour, I got worried when I didn't see you in the crowd" he smiled putting his hands on my shoulders, he was taller then I thought as he stood up straight. "I waited, I hate crowds" I shuddered, and looked down. "Don't bother when you hear people talking" he said putting his fingers on my chin. "Spen---" but I was cut off by his lips pressing against mine, my first kiss! I thought excitedly, and closed my eyes. I knew I was blushing probably turning into a cherry blossom. I dropped my suitcase by my side, putting my hands on his shoulders as he settled his on my hips. We do no other kissing, only our lips together, not opening. He parted and smiled at me picking up my case, "Spencer you don't have to I can do" I smiled reaching for my case. "No, it is fine I got it" he winked at me and took my hand in his. He was wonderful to me.. I walked with him down the steps counting our footsteps which were in rhythm. "How was your journey?" he asked as we walked across the lobby. "It was fine, I fell asleep as soon as it started taking off" I smiled looking up at him, "Heh, I normally just read or something" he put down the case by a silver car, and pulled out his key cars unlocking the car. I climbed in the passengers front seat and pulled on my set belt waiting for him to climb in, I was in deep through till he pulled his door shut. "Shay" he smiled at me and put a hand on the back of my head and leaned in, he kissed me. Gentle dabs with his moist lips, slipping into messaging my own tongue with his. My first proper kiss... He stole it...

And I'm glad he did, I was happy to be with him, and I'd be with only him.
