Chapter 4:Why Are Things So Complicated?

Kate's P.O.V: *the next day*
I wake up the next day my eyes still red.I slowly get dressed into a thick sweater,joggers and my hair into a ponytail.I brush my teeth and head downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen eating her cereal.'i still need to apologize' i sigh to myself. "hi mom" i mumble."hi how wa-" before she could finish she noticed my red puffy eyes.She may have been mad at me yesterday but she still cared to make sure i was okay."hun...what happened to you last night?" she asks worried. I didn't respond i just hugged her tightly and cried into her cardigan,"mom im sorry ,i should've known better than yell at you yesterday,i need to understand that your new job will help us" ."Sweetz its okay but are you sure that's the reason you were crying last night?" knowing that there was a real reason why."No,i cried last night because me and Jovani got into an arguement after i told him we're moving to New York.He said to stay here and let you go on your own and after i corrected him ,he got even angrier and said that once i leave ,he will be happier than ever!He's such a jerk for saying that" i mumble."Oh my...i never thought Jovani would ever say that..."she says hugging me tightly."Well im gonna eat breakfast" i sniff as i set out the cereal and milk."Alright i'll be upstairs"she grins.Once i was done i wash my dishes and hear a knock on our door.I open it up revealing Julian grinning at me."Uhh...hey.." i say grinning back."So..where's Jovani" never thinking i would ask that."Wow i never knew you would ask that ever since what happened last night.But honestly i dont know,he wasn't on his bed or anywhere in our house when i woke up." Julian explains "Oh that's strange" i say a bit curiously. "Hey i know you're still not on your best mood you wanna go for a walk,some fresh air?" Julian asks pointing outside."Oh sure" i smile, "Mooommm i'm going for a walk with Julian for a lil' bit!!" i yell from downstairs."Ok sweetie!!" she yells from upstairs.We head out the door as i feel the fresh breeze blow through my hair.Me and Julian were actually having fun,until i saw Jovani with another girl.Julian notices im suddenly quiet as he looks to the direction i was looking."That's the waitress girl Crystallyn from Starbucks that Jovani couldn't stop flirting with yesterday " Julian says looking back at me then at the two."Jovani...another girl....hanging...out" i mumble.I'm going to admit it,i was jealous i still loved Jovani but i'm sure he doesn't love after what happened yesterday.Jovani then sees me and Julian as we stare at eachother with dead silence for 5 min.I finally realized what i was doing and ran as fast as i could to get away from their sight with Julian following from behind.
Jovani's P.O.V:
Once is saw Kate i started to feel that the spark between us was still there,but now that she saw me with Crystallyn she probaly hates me even more.I don't like Crystallyn as my gf,she's just a friend.I still loved Kate."Hey!Jovani!who was that ugly prick girl you were staring at?you should be staring at someone more beatiful such as ME!" she pulls me in close as I push her away and ran off to talk to Kate."Hey!!!I'll call you later then babes" she yells out.'Jeez she couldn't get anymore annoying.' I thought to myself as i keep running.After 10 min i finally reached Kate's house and nervously knocked on their door.The door opened revealing Kate's mother."Umm...good morning Mrs.Cazar...is Kate here?" i ask nervously."Yes she's here i thought you didnt want her here,you broke my daughter." she exclaims crossing her arms. i sigh,"look i'm so sorry Mrs.Cazar,it's just whenever i get mad i say things i don't mean.Please Mrs.Cazar!I love your daughter,so freakin much,i'll do everything i can until she's happy again,until she's mine,forever mine.Please..." i beg her. I could tell Mrs.Cazar's eyes were warmed by that love for Kate."Okay you may see her,let her become yours" she grins."Thank You so much Mrs.Cazar" i smile as i hug her and run upstairs.I knock on Kate's door,once she opens it i stomp in before she could push me out."Kate!" i say about to hug her until she uses extreme strength to avoid the hug."WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?get out...GET OUT!!!! Your such a bitch!!!Get out!" she screams. "Kate I-" i was cut off. "Why are YOU HERE?!!WHY DON'T YOU GO AND VISIT THAT STARBUCKS GIRL CRYSTALLYN!SHE'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND ANYWAYS!!" she says angry. "KATE SHE'S JUST A FRIEND SHE NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE MY GIRLFRIEND...Please just let me ex-" before i could finish, she pushed me hard out the door then says"DON'T COME BACK JOVANI" and slams the door. I was literally about to sob in tears but i was still very angry also. I run down the stairs and about to head out until i hear Mrs.Cazar,"Hey Jovani,what happened up there?" she asks anxious.I didn't answer her question, "I'll see you guys later" as i walk and close the door from behind.
Kate's P.O.V:
I can't believe Jovani came here just to say something so rude to me again i think to myself as i sit my chair,looking out my window,crying,running my hand through my hair.My mom comes in tapping my shoulder,"hey sweetie" she grins then it drops "what happened up here?" she asks worried."Jovani was being stupid and i know he came to say something rude again." say angrily."What did he say?" she asks raising an eyebrow."I didn't let him finish,why would i make him say something mean to me" i say crying again. "No No No hun you got it all wrong." my mom says shocked."Hmph i don't think so" i say rolling my eyes."I mean it" she says with a serious look on her face."What are you talking about?" i ask looking at her with red puffy eyes."Sweetie...he came here to apologize.He told me he loves you very much,he also said that he will do everything he can to make you happy again,until you're his,forever his.But i'm guessing you didn't make it very easy for him" she explains in a soft tone. "H-he...said that?" i ask.My expression just went from sad/angry to shocked.She nods her head."Shit" i say taking deep breaths looking down.
