Prologue

Hello.
My name is Maggie.
And I'm an emergency call operator.

911 call operator if must.

We 'always' get there in time.
That's what they want you to think though.
I..... I sometimes just can't handle my job.

Sitting in the office. Not sure what's gonna happen. Sometimes not even knowing what to do.

Hearing the sobs from the other line, the terror in their voice, repeatedly asking for help.
Hearing the screams when they fail to stay quiet.
The next day turning on the Tv and finding out they are dead.

It's not always like that. Most of the time the cops get there in time. Most of the time.

But here is some of my experiences.
