*Ring Ring*......*Ring Ring*

"Hello. 911 how may I help you?"
"H-Hello?" A woman stuttered out.
"Hi. Is.. Everything ok miss?"
"Um, no."
"Can you tell m-"
"Is everything ok with you?"
I just sat there surprised. I didn't have time for a pointless phone call.
"Miss, I'm sorry but, I... I don't have time for this. Unless you actually need hel-"
"Listen. I know you're debating whether you need help. Lately it's been hard. Hey?"
I can't have this conversation again.

"Listen.. Who... Who ever you are please stop calling." I whispered hoping no one around would hear.
".... Are you hearing things or is it just me?..."
"Who are you? And why do you call me?" I pitched my hand. I'm not sure if I've gone insane.
"Work consuming you maggie?"

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

That's were I hang up.
I'm sick of these calls.... I think... It's just... Me.

I sat there pondering.
Forgetting about work.
The deeper my thoughts go the more I feel insane.

I felt my mobile phone vibrate in my pocket.
"I thought I turned it off.." I mutter to myself as I check what it was.
I had gotten a text from my sister.
'Hey sis. I think you should.... Take a break from work.'
I sigh thinking about our conversation last night.

-----

"Nothing's on tv." I sighed as I flicked through channels.
*beep*
My head shot right to my phone. The bright screen blinding me.
"Fucking brightness.." I mumbled as I squint my eyes and reach for my phone.
I turned the brightness down, my eyes slowly opening.
Therapist:
'Hello maggie. Don't forget about our appointment next week. Maggie.... Make sure you stay sane. Maybe take a break.'
I sighed reading the next over once more.
'I'll try. See you next week.' I tapped away on my phones keyboard.
Send.

I threw my phone on the couch. I didn't know what to do. Slowly sliding down on my couch thinking about what comes next.
"Music. That's what I need." I grabbed my earphones out of my pocket and grabbed my phone.
"Promise me one thing Spotify. Don't have so much adds." I sighed. I typed in my password and went to Spotify opening one of my playlists.
"Hmmm....lets go with... Something pretty chill yet..... Mm.... Nirvana." I smiled a little with my choice.
The start of the song played making me smile a little more.

My music went silent. I looked at my phone to realise my sister is calling me.
I unplug my earphones and accept the call.
"Hey. How's it going?" I start off.
"Hey. Just fine thank you. How are you going?"
I sighed getting a little annoyed. Because I'm not really okay.
"I.. I don't know."
"Maggie."
"Yes?"
"I'm worried about you." She sighed.
"I'm sorry, you don't ne-"
"Yes I need to be worried. And you don't need to be sorry."
"Maggie, listen. You've told me and your therapist about the voices."
I sighed really not wanting to get into it.
"Maggie, please take a break. For me. For you."
"Okay?"
"Okay." I sighed.
"I'll be coming over tomorrow. See you soon."
"Bye."
"Bye, Maggie."

"It's getting to me."
