It was cold the day I met him.

Narcissus watched his reflection for days before he died of his own vanity. His death, as most things were during the olden days, a symbol of the self destruction we all hold within ourselves.

A common companion of narcissus is hubris. It exists within all of us. Each to their own fatal flaw..

The fatal flaw of the human race is love, because it is the foundation to everything. The absence of love brings about the absence of light. And with love the light within ourselves has the ability to go out.

Do you understand, now, why I would not let others come near me. I loved too freely, but love is not cheap and my foundation was made of concrete and you were looking for wood-wood to burn and destroy.

It was cold the day I meet him, but he still managed to ignite a fire within me. But I was strong, and he did not ruin me. I am still here and I am still fighting.
