"right that's seven pound ninety eight."
i hand him a ten pound note.
and he picks out the change from the till.
"two pound two pence change, and your receipt." he says putting the money and receipt in my hand.
"thanks."
i pocket the change and pick up the bag.
Tiny had promised he'd remembered everything,
but then ten minutes before people were meant to arrive he realised he'd forgotten bin bags to clean up with in the morning,
and whilst taking the term 'pre-drinks' to another level,
he'd consumed a bag of Doritos.
so here i was at co-op.
