Temple Bulstrode 1308-9 (and elsewhere 1308-10): Latin and translation

[Introduction: the following sets out the accounts of Walter of Moleworth, previously sheriff of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, for the Templars' manor of Bulstrode (1308-9)and the Templars' other former properties in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire (1308-10). These accounts can be found at Kew, The National Archives, E 358/18 rots 6 and 7 and at E 358/20 rot. 12. After each section of the latin text there is an English translation.]

{Bulstrode: The same renders account for 3 s 4 d for 50 gallons of cider from the produce of the garden during the aforesaid period as is contained in the particulars of account which he handed to the Treasury. And for 18 d from sale of willows felled in the Templars' time, as is contained there. And for 9 s 3 d from sale of underwood. And for 5 d as a Christmas offering from the farmworkers, as is contained there. And for 21 d for rowen cheese (cheese made after the cows have eaten rowen grass, that is, mown grass from which the hay has been cut), as is contained in the same place. And for £6 7 s 11½ d from the sale of 2 oxen, 1 calf, 2 wethers, 17 breeding ewes and 22 pigs as is contained in the same place. And for 11 s 1 d from the sale of 31 wool fells, 7 sheep-skins and 67 lambskins, as is contained in the same place. And for £4, 4 s 3¼ d from the sale of 2 quarters 7½ bushels of wheat, 2 quarters 4¼ bushels of pis, 1½ quarters of maslin, 1 quarter of dredge and 20 quarters of oats as is contained in the same place.
