The Zapping Games

Chapter Three

And that's how we got kicked out of a park. I know what you're thinking, a park seriously? It wasn't my fault that the Park Inspector decided to be there when there's nothing exciting happening there anyway. I groaned in frustation, I should have listened to the duck who shook his head in disapproval. "Why did you guys push me in there anyway?" I asked furiously, "Now we got kicked out!"

"Hello captian obvious" Brittania cried irritated as her rolled her pretty blue eyes, "We all got kicked out so suck it up and stop acting like a baby!" I frowned, this was officially the worst day ever! I wanted to go home, take a warm shower, and do my stupid homework. I wish I wouldn't have joined the zapping games in the first place. 

"I'm sorry Kira" Dusty said apologetically completing ignoring Brittania, "On the bright side, you're an official member of the Zapping Games!" I frowned again, is he for real? I was so upset, I began to mutter curse words underneath my breath in anger. 

"I never wanted to join in the first place so there's no bright side to this" I retorted as I flipped my curly hair. Brittania smirked, which made me want to strangle her. This is why I hated her, she always happy when I'm pissed off.

"Calm down Kira" Dusty said comfortingly as he put a hand on my shoulder, "We'll probably never see him again." I sighed, he was right. I've never seen a Park Inspector in life before and to be honest, I had no idea they existed over here. 

"Fine" I grumbled as I squeezed the water out of my shirt, "I'm going home, goodbye!" He laughed and then it occured to me that he drove me to school today which caused me to groan more. I guess the pond water took away my brain cells! 

"I'm taking you home, remember?" Dusty reminded me as he continued to chuckle, "Let's go Kira before you explode." I sighed, this was not what I wanted the rest of the day to turn into. Brittania waved at us almost as happy that I was leaving her. R-u-d-e, that's how you spell Brittania. 

"Bye Kira, there's a zapping game meeting tommorrow with everyone else" Brittania said happily, "I'm going to zap you first." I could have strangled her if I wasn't soaked and desperate to go home, trust me I would have.

"See that guy over there?" Brittania pointed at the end of the lunchroom. It was next day and after listening to my mother yell at me for two hours, I finally showered and finished my schoolwork. Now I was in school with the 'Zap Crew' during lunch. The two others members were Jasmine and Luis, they seemed nice unlike everybody else. Sighing, I turned my attention to where Brittania's manicured fingers pointed to and gasped in shock. 

It was boy with freakishly large glasses and zits covering his face doing his homework like it was his hobby which caused me to groan sadly. I knew where this was heading. "Y-yes" I stuttered nervously as I watched the boy picked his nose in disgust, "I-I- see him."

Brittania laughed as she grabbed my hand and wrote the nasty boy's name in my palm as I cringed in disgust. Dustin laughed at my expression and patted me on the back. "Don't worry, it'll be fun!" I had an urge to slap him against the face, but I decided against it. 

"Don't worry" Luis told me as he put his hand on my shoulder, "As long as you don't erase his name from your palm, you can break up with him-" Brittania slapped him playfully which caused him to stop talking and put a hand over his cheek in shock. 

"Shut up Luis" Brittania said evilly as she flashed him her pearly whites, "She can handle herself." I rolled my eyes, did she really hate me that much? Apparently she did. 

"Calm down Britt, there's no need to slap Luis. He was just helping her" Jasmine snapped at Brittania as she flipped her dark hair. I smiled, I was glad that Jasmine was telling her off, I would have said something much worse. She groaned angrily which caused all of us to jump in shock. 

"I don't give a shit!" Brittania cussed angrily, "Go to that guy and ask him out already!" I frowned for like the millionth time and stared at her furiously. I was tired of her attitude. 

"If you want me to stay in these games, then stop acting like a bitch!" I retorted before trotting away towards the nerdy dude. Gosh, I couldn't believe that this girl was in the games! She was starting a lot of drama and Dusty wanted me to get along with her?! I don't think so!

Walking up towards the guy caused me feel nervous all over again because not only was I anger, but I had to ask out a guy who picks his own nose. Delightful! Staring at my palm, I discovered that the guy's name was Richard. Clearing my throat, I continued walking towards him until we were in contact. 

Richard seemed too focused on his homework to even look up and as he scratched his brown hair, I happened to see dandruff on his hands. I wanted to gag, this was so disgusting! Quickly fishing out my hand sanitizer, I immediately dropped it loudly on his homework which caused him to look up at me. "Um, can I help you?" Richard asked me in squeaky voice which almost caused me to laugh, but I bit my lip to refrain myself. 

"Yes, I think you dropped your hand sanitizer so I giving it back to you" I smiled warmly. He looked at me puzzled. I didn't blame him, the sanitizer bottle was from bath&body works.

"Um, this isn't mine" Richard said as he picked the bottle with his gross fingers. I sighed, think of something, think, think-ooh I got it. 

"Okay, you caught me! It's mine, but I threw it at you so I could get your attention" I blurted pretending to blush sheepishly. Richard glanced at me taken back but then he smiled warmly which showed off his braces and his teeth were surprisingly white. 

"Thank you but- 

I cut him off. "Will you go out with me? I really like you and I think you're hot!" I almost laughed, what the hell! He was far from hot- no offense. 

He chuckled which caused me to laugh because he sounded like a frightened mouse like seriously. "I'm sorry, but I can't go out with you. I already have a girlfriend." What, he did? Seriously?

"Oh okay, but you can keep my sanitizer" I replied to him with a wink and then I departed happily. Yes, I didn't have to go out with him! Maybe this will be better than I thought until I walked up to see Brittania smiling evilly. Oh no!
