We were walking through the market of our big shitty city. It was another easy steal we do just knock something off take it and run. It's even easier with our Unatural abilities. Me, Julia of course and my friends Kaycee, Sam, and Jocelyn who I kinda like. Maybe I should explain our abilities and ourselves. We'll start with Sam cause he's the baby. Being the youngest is hard because we always try to cater towards him and he doesn't like that. He's the strongest and well balanced of us all so I'm not sure why we still do it. Our powers are all balanced with elements there are four. Sam controls earth and anything rocky, green, or dusty. A real bitch if you get on his bad side. And then Kaycee she's the oldest. She bosses us around and it really makes me mad because all she does is make u wet like water isn't even that deadly. But trust me you don't follow her rules you will get wet and cold. On to Jocelyn. Fuck she is gorgeous I mean damn girl. Your hair I just want it. Enough with her looks but she controls fire which is ironic cause she's on fire. Me and her are the same age and it's really awkward because we're both straight but I don't feel straight looking at her. Anyway she's a pretty good fighter and if we combined powers that would be sick a fire tornado, Rawwww. I'll explain my self last I control air, sadly that doesn't mean I can take away your breath away. Just push you up and slam you down with out trying. I'm not sure what I rank to other people but to me I'm pretty cool. If that matters at all. These people are all I've had since the Cleaning. Powers became outlawed and they wiped all Unaturals out. We survived however. Sam turned around and shook me out
of my daze
Sam: "Ay were gonna rob this one ok?"
Me: "Ok."

I stood in my position at the right corner. Sam made a small sink hole kicking up items over my way. I grabbed the most expensive things and used my power to blast me into the air. I was free falling over the buildings.
Me: "I don't know how to land!"

Sam was underneath me laughing his stupid ass of as I began to fall. I felt the air rush across my ears till I dropped heavily into his arms.
Me: "Thanks, Bitch."
Sam: "No problem, Jerk."
Jocelyn and Kaycee: "Assbutt!"

We were in the clear so we kept walking while occasionally chatting. We were on our way to the slums where we kina "hung out" they were riddled with thieves and low people. We were walking past an abandoned building Sam in front when someone jumped out of the door and tackled him.
Sam: "Agh get off me you oozing waste!"

The man pulled a knife out and Sam used that time he took to over power him and push him off. The man scooted back and Sam rolled to a stand. The ground beneath the man shook and rumbled then stopped. Oh Sam that's weak I looked away when I heard the sound of a squeal then Sam laughing. The man was pinned down by rocks shards one in each limb it was a funny sight. Except for all the blood and his moving made it worse. Sam pulled out his giant knife and walked up to the man. Setting the jagged blade to his neck he began to speak
Sam: "Who are you exactly and why are u tackling me on a fine ass day like this*
The man: "..."
Sam: "Good answer, Just it's that I don't have a very good tolerance for those type of answers so do you want a second chance?"
The man: "..."
Sam: "Ok."

Sam pulled the knife back and pushed it perpendicular into the guys neck. He kept going till he was half way through. He jumped back and told us to keep walking. Now there was a reason he did that. It wasn't a normal guy it was one of the dictators soldiers. They wore masks and killed any one who looked Unatural. Even children, we did all we could to return there favor no matter what people though. We saw the slums up ahead and we broke into a jog. Once we got there we went into our building and found our separate rooms and lie down. It wasn't very clean but it was all we could afford. I looked at what I grabbed when we stole from that vendor. It was a pendant with a jade stone in the middle.
Me: "Huh, nice."

I put it on and rolled over. The sky was dark so it was obviously night so I shut my eyes and dozed off......
