Chapter six-Your such a dumb nerd

The wall is jagged as I scale it,pulling myself up.Looking behind me I see the pair of sunglasses advancing on me,their sharp fangs dripping woth saliva.Almost there!If I slay the sunglasses then I will be crowned queen of accessery land!

"Hey Hope!Hope!"Once again my daydream is disturbed.I glare up at my intruder meeting the darke-eyed gaze of Aaron Johnson.My feautures change to a smile as I recognize him.He returns the smile and I notice he is crouched by my desk.

"Hey Hope,did I inturrupt something there?"He laughs tapping is head with his fingernail.

I bite my lip"Well actually yes.See I was going to be crowned queen.Queen of all accecory land but first I had to slay the sunglasses and I was almost at the top of the wall where my silver dagger was so that I could kill the evil shades-"Aaron stops me with a little laugh shaking his head as if he cannot quite believe I'm real."So you into math?"he asks,making small talk.

"Not really-I'm more of an English kind of girl myself."I state.

"Figures considering you have such a wild imagination!"he chuckles.

I frown"Yeah but now I'm falling behind in math due to my constant lack of attention.How about you?"

"Oh yeah Math,English all of it FAIL.More of a sporty kind of guy myself."He says stretching his muscles making a little bubble of laughter escape my lips.Mr Jeremy walks in,text books piled way over his head as he totters into the room.He sets the books. down on the table before starting the lesson.

a=2 over what? I don't know.I'm going to flatland.Sheldon Cooper taught me this one.He may be a fictional character from a telivision programme but in he's like my role model.Anyway he invented flatland which only includes two dimentional shapes.So technically I'm still doing math as I work on my flat farm feeding the rectangular cows and the circular pigs.Before I can finish my chores the bell rings snapping me out of my fantasy.I pack up my stuff about to head out to third period when Mr Jeremy calls me back."Yes sir?"I ask politely.

"Hope I know you've been struggling with math so I thought it would be a good idea to get one of the students to tutor you.Now I have a young man in mind who excels at math but just cannot wrap his head around English.And I spoke to Mr Carr and he said it would be a good idea to tutor each other on the subjects.Mr Carr says your doing a project with him anyway so it would not be too hard..."Mr Jeremy wheezes through his nose.It takes e a while to digest this information.Tutor.Young man.Math.English.Partners.Alec.Alec Lucas.Moles of the universe not again!

"It's Alec Lucas incase you hadn't already realised.Go and find him at lunch and you can tell him."The old math teacher commands before turning on his heel with the textbooks waving precariously over his shoulder.I sigh as I head out to Spanish knowing how much Alec is going to laugh at me when he finds out that I,the nerd is failing Math and that he,the popular bad boy is going to tutor me.But I can't afford to fail math even if that means death by annoying-bad-boy for me.

Alec is currently sputtering,doubled over with laughter.

"Your failing math!Math?But....you.....your....a nerd!And Mr Jeremy told....you...to come...to me for tutoring!"He manages to get out.

"I just told you that you dumbo!Aren't you able to understand a simple sentence without repeating it?"I snap.

"I'm not the dumbo here!"he sings grinning evilly.

My hands ball into fists and I feel fire beginning to protrude out of my nostrils.My face flushes as I take a step towards him my eyes narrowed into slits.
