When Megan got home, she took a long, hot shower. Then she got into Bed and turned the radio on low. She thought about what her and Michael had shared and how it right it felt.It was about ten when Julia came down to Megan's house the next day.They only lived two houses apart from each other.
''Megan wake up.''
''hey,'' she said yawning.
''Ten.Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up.I had to come down here before my dad gets home.''
''Restriction again?''
''I'm always on restriction.I called you last nigh, but you had just left.''
''Yeah Michael and I went out.''
''I called you to tell you,I saw Tim.I miss him so much sometimes. I mean, I'm happy with Dean,but Tim and I shared a lot, You know what I mean?''
''Yeah. you'll always love Tim,because he was your first love.''
''I'm glad someone understands. Thanks, Megan.'' She noticed she wasn't paying her much attention. ''Is everything okay with you and Michael?I mean your acting like your in another world.''
''I thought we were going to the drive-in last night, but we went to his house.Things just happened. I'm glad i did it Julia.''
''So you are not having any regrets?''
''None at all.I love him.''even though i was afraid to say it.Maybe i scared her,because she knew after last night, she really meant it.She gave him something, that was so special to her.
''i'm happy for you.Were you guys careful?''
''What do you mean?''
''Protection. You know, birth control. Oh my god, didn't use a condom?''
''I didn't think. It just happened so fast. Don't worry. What's the odds for me to get pregnant? Besides it was only my first time.Besides,how about you and Dean? If you need someone to talk to, I'm here.You know that.Just give yourself time with Tim, okay?''
''Okay, I do care a lot about Dean. We get along great.''
''I think that's great, you deserve happiness.''
''So do you.''
''Yes. We both have it.''
Julia stayed for a few more minutes. After she left, Megan decided to go ahead and straighten up. Her mom was in the kitchen.
''Hey mom.''
''Hey sweetheart.''
''where's dad?''
''He had to work. I'm fixing to go to the office for awhile. I should be home around five. Did you really have fun last night?''
''Yeah.'' If only you knew how much, she thought to herself.
''I'm glad, honey. Things seem to be going good between you to. You're really serious about him, arn't you?''
I guess so, mom. He's just different from any of the guys I've ever dated.''
''I know.''
''Is it okay if he drops me by Ann's house tonight?''
''Yeah, but be there by twelve. I also want you home for dinner tomorrow. Will you clean up for me?''
''Sure mom, thanks.''
Megan ate breakfast,and then she cleaned up. She decided to call Ann. They talked for about two hours.
Megan told her everything that happened the night before.Megan wasn't really expecting company when the doorbell rung.
''Well someone's at the door.I'll see you tonight,okay.''
''Okay bye.''
When Megan opened the door, she was surprised to see Michael.
''What are you doing here?''
''Oh, I love you too.''
''I mean, silly i thought you had to work.''
''They changed my schedule.''
''Come on in.''
''Where's everybody at?''
''Working. I can't believe i havn't even got dressed yet.''
''You mean we have the house all to ourselves?''
''Yes until five.'' She grabbed him and kissed him.
They were watching a movie.They started kissing for along time. She didn't mean for it to happen again. All of those familiar feelings that she had felt the night before were coming back.
''You know Meg, I', tired of watching this movie. How about you?''
''Well you know i didn't get to take my shower. I was fixing to, right before you came.I think i'm going upstairs now. You can just finish watching the movie, unless of coarse, you want to join me.'
''Sounds good to me.''
She led him upstairs this time. Later they were laying in each others arms, When she noticed the time."Michael its almost four. You got to be going,''
''I don't want to Meg. I could stay in this bed forever.''
I know what you mean, I love you.''
''I love you,'' He kissed her softly.'' Let me get up and get dressed. before we get into trouble.''
'' I'll pick you up at seven,'' he said at the door as they finished getting dressed.
''Okay, I love you.''
'' I love you more.'' With that Michael got into his car and drove away.
