".. Dad?" I quickly stand up straight smiling nervously

"What are you doing back this early.." I said trying to act as casual as possible, however, Desmond had other plans

"Dad, Ruby just broke my phone" he said looking angry, at first I was confused but then I understood what he was upto so I started to play along

"Dad!! He was gonna kill me! I broke his phone by accident!" I say while panting holding my neck as if he's strangled me

"Desmond! Don't hurt your sister! *Sigh* I guess I need to buy a new phone now." Dad said putting his bag down and hanging his jacket, he totally bought it!! Haha! I looked towards Desmond mouthing "he bought it, he totally bought it!" Followed by a chuckle, but what about Desmond's phone? He didn't really brake it did he? I quickly grabbed Desmond's hand and pulled him towards his room closing the door. talk about mood swings

"Desmond! Did you really break your phone?? Phones are so expensive and dad has to buy a new phone now.. You could have said something else!" I whisper-shouted

"Easy there tiger! I did actually break my phone.." He said trailing off, what happened to his phone? How did he break it??

"How did you break it! Tell me or I'm telling dad you brought in a girl!" I said impatiently crossing my arms

"Ok fine! Sheesh. While I was fighting Blake I broke his nose and damn did his nose look crooked.. Anyway, his 'gang' took my phone and smashed it on the floor.. Lol pussies. That's all they did."

"WHAT?!?! You broke his nose?? What did you do Desmond! You know he's gonna plan for revenge right? I mean, he's the most dangerous boy in school!" I said in shock, why did he have to go that far? Sigh

"Humph, you think I'm scared of them? they were too scared to fight me that they broke my phone instead! Seriously, stop worrying" he said as I rolled my eyes

"Desmond! Quick Come here! I'm gonna die im gonna die!" I screamed, Desmond came rushing into my room, his hair was a mess and he looked like he just woke up.. And he's shirtless. I skimmed over his body raising my eyebrows impressed by his fit figure

"What happened?! Ruby! I thought there was a thief or something!" He said angrily, I can't blame him though.. It's 4am..

"I'm impressed, I can see that you've been workin out, tryna get all dem ladies eyh?" I said winking jokingly

"What do you want Ruby? It's friggin 4 in the morning" he said while his hand went through his hair

"There's no wifi" I said seriously

"The hell? What should I do?" He said impatiently

"Come on please! I was watching Attack Of Titans and the wifi just went on the best part!" I said moaning

"Fine.." He said defeatedly

"But you have to do one thing for me" he said

"What?? What is it! I'll do anything just puh-lease bring me WIFIIII", he smirked as he came closer to me getting closer to my ear

"Pretend to be my girlfriend" he whispered, a shiver went down my spine, I could feel his breath against my pale skin, did he really just say that..? Why did he come so close..? I shook my head and straightened myself up, Desmond doesn't mean it In a bad way at all.. He just wants to protect me from that player so he could stop harassing me.. this is actually a good idea, I can finally avoid him!

"Fine, whatever. At Least the player would finally stop trying to be with me" I said trying not to look desperate

"Starts from tomorrow morning, don't forget" he smirked followed by a wink and left to his room. Did that just happen? I mean.. He's my brother.. It's kinda wrong don't ya think? Sigh.. I have no friends to guide me, such a loner. But I think it's ok because it's gonna be fake, it's not like we're gonna kiss or anything.. Right?

-Desmond POV-

I left Ruby's room feeling like I won the lottery, she will be my 'pretend' girlfriend.. Humph, how clueless can she be? I did almost everything to her which makes all the girls go crazy, but you wait. She'll fall for me like never before. Starting from tomorrow.

-Ruby's POV-

I blinked my eyes open when I heard something whispering close to me

"Ruby.. Wake up" Desmond said, i opened my eyes fully alert, what's he doing next to me?! Realization hit me when I saw him cuddled up next to me on my bed. Ok this went too far. What the hell?!

"Desmond what the hell?! Why are you sleeping next to me you perv!" I say in pure disgust as I quickly sat up pulling the covers over my body.. I was only wearing a sports bra and my pajama pants, I never wear revealing clothes, even if it's a skirt that shows my legs or a crop top, I don't even wear bikinis! I'm literally the weirdest girl out there.. No wonder I have no friends! smh

"Stop over reacting, were pretending to be a couple from now on so that the player would avoid you, cmon, I took a picture of us and sent it to him, I did this for you!" He said looking a bit scared, I decided I would give him the silent treatment for today, I'm still upset. Well.. I may have over reacted 'cause I never had a boyfriend and stuff soo.. Maby it's just me

A whole day passed by, I avoided Desmond as much possible, he tried to speak to me a couple of times but I would give him the cold shoulder or just walk away, he better think of an apology and fast! Anyway..it's 8 o'clock, better get to sleep, I have a big day ahead of me.

-Desmond POV-

Shit shit shit shit! She got scared. What was I thinking?! I got too desperate.. I should have started in baby steps. All day she has been giving me the cold shoulder, what if she- ring ring ring ring

The phone started ringing interrupting my thoughts, I rubbed my eyes and checked who called me, it was him. The player Blake..
