♱Prologue♱

THIRD PERSON PoV

"Go...Murder him, at all costs, even if it means your life." Those were the last words that the female's father had spoken to her, before sending her out on her mission. The silver haired girl didn't particularly mind the fact of the possibility of losing her life in this mission, the word 'death' is practically meaningless to her.

She briefly glanced out the window of the vehicle she was currently inside, then focused her attention back to the uniform she was currently forced to wear, scrutinizing it diligently. She didn't particularly mind the design and colour, if anything, it had fit her taste quite well.

While she was still absorbed in her thoughts about the mission, the vehicle came to an abrupt stop. That was the cue for her to clear her mind of anything, and start putting her mask on. She looked out the window of the car, only to be met by a gorgeous building, standing proudly in the night sky. 'Ryoutei Acedemy...' She thought to herself and stared blankly at the building, 'this is the school I'll be attending as of tonight...'

The female slightly clicked her tongue at the troublesome thought, she was anything but pleased about the fact that she will be attending the same school as vampires. She had gathered all of the information required about the mission from her father, that included the fact that there are vampires currently attending this school.

With that irritating thought in mind, she stepped out of the fancy looking car with elegance. Her feet length silver hair, which was currently tied up in a single high ponytail flowed with the wind, making her seem like a princess from a fairy tale. Various students gave her admiring glances as they passed by. As the female stood in place with a blank expression, an older looking man who was dressed in a tuxedo handed her an envelope that was addressed to her.

"Milady, this is from the master." She swiftly swiped the envelope from the man's hands and walked off without a word, showing no facial expression what so ever. That moment lasted until the second she stepped into the school, that was where the change happened. Her regular poker face was now replaced by a calm and gentle smile. She kept that smile on throughout the whole trip to the staff room, attracting even unwanted attention to her than before.

She gently knocked on the door, waiting for a few seconds before opening it and stepping into the spacious, and elegantly decorated room. She hastily examined the room with her eyes until she finally found the person she was looking for. She quickly stepped up to the lady and gave her a light bow.

"Konnichiwa, sensei."

NORA'S PoV

'So troublesome...' I sighed inwardly to myself as I followed my homeroom teacher to my classroom. According to my father, I am suppose to be a third year student at this school, 'it didn't particularly mattered to me which grade I was being put in, I could probably fit in just as well in either.' On my way there, I looked at my surroundings and carefully examined the majestic building once more. 'Beautiful interior designs...as expected for a school like this. Not that it has anything to do with me...'

I returned my gaze back to the figure of my teacher while thinking back to what my father had spoken to me before my departure. 'Father said that education will not be particularly important for this mission. What is important is to gather as much information as possible on the vampires present. So that probably means I can skip out on classes if required.' I am at least thankful for that one detail, formal education was never a huge interest to me, I much prefer informal instead.

As the thoughts swirled inside of my brain, we had somehow already arrived at our designated classroom. I was told to stand outside and wait until the teacher summoned me in. As I stood outside waiting, I closed my eyes and inhaled and exhaled once deeply. 'I need to gather information, so that means I have to get friendly with my classmates. What a pain... So I guess a friendly mask this time.'

Just as I finished putting my mask on, I heard the teacher's voice calling my name and opened the door to the classroom and stepped in. I can feel the immediate gazes that latched onto me the second I stepped into the classroom. I stopped my tracks beside the teacher and gracefully turned my body so that I'm facing the class.

"Now, introduce yourself to us please, Kurobane-san." I gave a small smile at the teacher's words and nodded.

"Hai, hajimemashite minna-san, I'm Kurobane Nora, as you can all see, I've just transferred here and are a little unfamiliar with the surroundings. I hope you can all take care of me. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu." I finished my introduction with a bow to the class. The class was silent for a moment until sound of applause came, which slightly confused me. I rose from my bow, not affected by the peculiar applauses and gave a quick scan around the room with my eyes. Knowing my father, there is a high possibility he'd put me in the same class where a vampire attended. However, I couldn't tell if there was one in here just by mere appearance.

I slightly winced at the situation as I made my way to my designated seat, which was in front of a handsome looking male with dark purple hair and a piercing deep red gaze. I nonchalantly brushed my eyes across him when I sat down. My eyes widened in shock the second I saw his fixed gaze and I slightly smirked to myself, not out of amusement, but fear. 'What is with that look, it looked anything but friendly... I feel like there is a pair of knives piercing through my back right now...' Cold sweat beads began to form on my forehead as class began.

Throughout the whole class, I could feel his piercing gaze focused on myself and it took all I had to contain my anxiety. The situation went on for the entirety of the class, to be honest I had never expected that there would be a day that I would get intimidated just by a simple glance. I smirked at myself at my own thought, 'now when was the last time that had happened?'

*RING RING*

The sound of the school bell snapped me out of my thinking. I can still feel the pair of sharp gazes on me as I did my best to avoid them and exit out of the classroom as soon as possible, trying not to raise any suspicions along the way. Once I've exited, I quickly ran around a corner and leaned against the wall of the dark corridor, placing a hand over my quickened heart.

The thought of the pair of red gazes sent shivers down my spine. 'What is this feeling I'm having...?' My heart felt like it was being constricted tightly and suddenly it became harder to breathe. I instinctively cupped a hand over my mouth and heart, 'what is happening to me...?' I knelt to the cold ground and exhaled and inhaled deeply multiple times, attempting to calm my quickened heart down.

After multiple attempts, I have managed to succeed in doing so. I stood back up from my kneeling position and stared at the palm that had been clutching my chest just a few moments ago. My privacy did not last long as I suddenly felt a presence near me, I glanced around my area warily, however, there was no one to be found, until that voice spoke up.

"Kurobane-san, was it? I would like a word with you please." My eyes immediately widen at the sudden masculine voice and my head quickly snapped to the direction of the voice.

There he was, standing before me in a calm posture, his crimson gazes as sharp as ever. Now, what was the word you use to describe this feeling? Ah yes, intuition, that was it. Now this was just simply my intuition, but I can feel it, deep down to my bones.

It's him

I wryly smirked to myself at my confirmation and managed to force my previous frozen body to move. I stood up straight and faced him eye to eye, my eyes narrowing as his whole feature came into my view.

"Yes, of course."

New book! How was it? I hope it was at least decent since I did try my best at it XD.

To be honest I had no confidence in ever writing a DL fanfic but thanks to some certain people, not going to name who it is. I've managed to make one.
