It was a particularly cold day on Coruscant. The temperature had dropped below normal the average winter temperature on the planet. The city seemed frozen in time, a snow storm was about to strike at any second now. The republic took action and cancelled school and work. Even the Jedi took a day off.
The sky an ominous grey as the approaching strom loomed over the head of downtown coruscant. The lighting outside was dim, making the world seem muted and dull.
The door to a lonely room in a corner of the temple swished open, slicing the chilly air, and breaking the icy silence that had plagued the halls.
In stepped in a young Jedi knight, wearing a dark coat to shield himself from the cold. Across the room, sitting quietly on a cushion, this knight's padawan. She held a datapad in her hands, very much into her reading, she almost hadn't noticed her masters appearance.
"Hey snips." He spoke softly to the girl.
She looked up shyly and shot him a smile that could warm up the planet.
Anakin's heart fluttered as he gazed upon her.
Shes perfect. In her quiet composure, by herself, not full of worry or exhaustion. Lazily wraped in some warm pastel pink pajamas, she looked more like a princess than if she were to dress like one.
Anakin draped a thick patterned blanket over her shoulders and she sighed in satisfaction. Anakin leaned down next to her and planted a kiss on her right cheek. She blushed slightly.
"Want some tea?" He whispered.
She nodded.
"...yeah, sure." She half laughed her response.
Anakin smiled and got to his feet once more. He walked over to the small kitchen, and boiled some milk. He was never big on tea until Obi wan shoved some decent tasting ones down his throat. He thought it was bland leaf water, little did he know milk tea was a thing.
After the milk had finished heating, he grabbed two bags of some exotic spiced tea he...kinda stole from Kenobi. He added the the and some sugar and strolled over to his love again.
She had put the datapad down and she looked at the city below. The snow storm had already started, covering the city in a gentle blanket of white. She smiled to herself, which made Anakin fall in love with her all over again.
She turned towards Anakin as she approached. He placed a mug in her hand and she quietly thanked him. Anakin then took her blanket and draped it over the both of them. She leaned into him and closed her eyes, hands embracing the warmth from the cup.
"Better?" He asked.
"Mmhm.." she replied, finding herself falling into a warm bliss.
Anakin didn't say a word and silently put his arms around her and pulled her into his chest, she still sitting sideways. He kissed her forehead as she became sleepy. After a few moments, Ahsoka spoke up.
"I love you." She said hazily.
"As do I."
"Anakin.."
"Yes?"
"Your tea is gonna get cold."
