"Look what I found!" Reed called over.

I slammed her ID on my desk, frustrated because I can't find anything on her. My few step walk to Reed was like a trek, what happened to Sky? How does she deserve this? His eyes were red and puffy from crying, Reed doesn't cry so I guess there is or was something. But I'm determined to find her, I'm determined to tell her she doesn't have to be scared anymore. I'm determined to find Sam innocent.

"What'd you find?" I questioned, he grinned and showed me a piece of paper with house facts and that. We only bothered to look at them if the case is hard or if Sky is missing. Yeah, she gets her own category.

I glanced at the sheet, "Her roommate for two years, Jake Caffrey, moved out a few months ago. Since then he's been tried for domestic abuse. Why would he do it to her?" Reed explained.

Caffrey. Caffrey? The notecard! The one telling her she was beautiful so it can't be him. He would hate to bruise her pretty face.

"Do you think follow up questioning may be in store?" I asked trying to find a way to meet him. Who was this famous roommate?

---

"Mr. Caffrey. Open up please. NYPD." I yelled and pounded on the frame of the screen door. This rusty old shack is nothing compared to Sky's house. Wonder why he moved.

Feet shuffling in the house made me plant my feet. Reed was right next to me but his scowl on his face told me that he's going to be unpredictable when Mr. Caffrey shows his face and I didn't think that would be a good idea but he refused to stay in the car. About to throw a tantrum like a baby.

A tall guy came to the door, he was lanky and all his limbs were longer than normal. He was taller than both Reed and I so he smiled down on is. I frowned, how can I compete- wait did I say compete? I mean, how can I complete this mission if I can't look him in the eyes. His hair was ruffled like he just got out of bed and he was wearing a white robe.

"What happened? I swear, I'm out of it. I've stopped doing drugs and I'm on the road to recovery and I'd rather do it in peace." He defended right away.

Then he gave us handsome smiles- yes! He just tosses around handsome smiles! No wonder Caffrey and Sky were roommates. They are both charmers except Sky does it without realizing it. Caffrey has this arrogant aura around him.

"We are here to question you about Sky..." I began. I never got to finish my thought because he began whinpering.

"W-what happened to Sky?"

His face seemed pained and I feel sort of bad. I feel the same way because I just do. My hands clenched into fists and I tried to remain calm.

"She's missing and we want to know what you know about her." Reed said, his voice strong.

"She was my best friend, come on in please."

We followed him inside and there was pictures of Sky and him all over the place, it was almost as if he was obsessed and for some reason, that ticked me off. He had no right to care about her, but he didn't kidnap her.

"Is she okay? Are you going to find the bastard that did this to her?" He exclaimed a little louder than normal. Reed and I nodded unsure of how to answer when he's at this state. Luckily, he continued, "Sky had no clue of her impact on people- hence my house. She was the one who believed I was on the path for better things when no one else did. Look how beautiful she is in this photo-" he pointed to a photo of Sky, she was gorgeous. She was wearing a dark green dress and her hair was tucked behind her ear with a flower. I'm pretty sure I gasped silently but luckily when they looked at me, I seemed indifferent. She was grinning at something in the distance and was totally oblivious of how beautiful she looked. "She is a muse that only a few get the honor of meeting- now many more of her missing persons poster goes all over the place."

I looked to Reed, we haven't even called her a missing person yet, in fact we are the only ones who know she's gone.

"I was going to ask her to go on a date with me... She just slipped through my fingers." Reed mumbled.

Something hard fell in my stomach and hit the diaphragm with a hard thud. Reed is much more attractive than me, even freaking Caffrey is somewhat more good looking than me. What am I thinking of- to think that she would like a guy like me. I practically voiced to her that I hated her.

"I remember when I asked her out, she went out of pity and I could tell by the end of the night that she only intended to be friends. I've never seen her have a boyfriend before honestly but she insists she's straight. When you find her, can you tell her to call me, I know with what happened with her brother makes her busy but I'd love a ring." Caffrey smiled weakly.

"I'd love to continue the girl talk, gals, but we have a murder and missing persons case to solve. Let's go Reed. Thanks Mr. Caffrey." I nodded and walked outside feeling a little sense of pride. I got to damage Caffrey's pride a bit, he asked... I like Sky. Damn it! Everybody falls for her and she doesn't fall for anybody. I'm sort of like her with the doesn't fall for anybody but nobody falls for me either. Now I've fallen... I have to convince her to fall for me when I find her. And I'm going to find her.

With the new vow I made, I slammed the door after getting into the car and waited for Reed. I'm going to find Sky. And I will do whatever it fucking takes to find her. I have to find her.
