"Step away from the body!!" The policeman shouted, pointing the gun at my head. Kind of scared, I did as I was told. "On your knees! NOW!" Another officer said, aiming his gun at me as well. I just stood there and eyed his arm-which was bleeding rapidly. I licked my lips and made a lunge for him. He screamed with horror and tried to pry me off of him.
"Get her off of me!!" The man shouted. His partner grabbed my arms and pulled them behind me. Then she latched the handcuffs onto my wrist, securing them behind my back.
What the hell did I just do?!

We arrived at the slammer a hour later. I could hear loud banging from inside the car with my new ability of hearing. I think a lot of things have changed since tonight. I sighed as I got out of the police car and walked into my jail cell. I got all tons of stares from complete strangers. Each and every one mugged me. Some had beards-even the women-, some had freakishly long hair and some were crying. I felt bad for them. It must be hard. You know, sitting in a jail cell for the rest of your life 'til death. Pretty sad if you ask me.
"Get in the cell, fleabag!" One guy said. My cellmate was a woman with blonde hair that cascaded down her back and crystal blue eyes that you could jump right into. I smiled at her but she just continued to cry in the corner. I nearly cried with her but I fought the urge to.
I just hope I can see my family again-even if they hate me......
