It was more cold then I thought. The wind picked up a bit,ruffling my fur. I shivered. Right now I was in the city,walking around the alleys. The moon barley even shown. I jumped up and sat on,what I'm guessing, is a dumpster.

I looked around, my ears twitched and my tail swayed slowly. I saw a couple cars past by,people walking around,some drunk. Then I picked up something. I heard yelling then smelled something I know to well. Blood,that smell made my stomach do a flip. I hop down and followed the sound and smell.

As I looked around a corner, I saw something that made me sick to the stomach. Two boys were pinning another boy to the wall. He was covered in blood. Another was in front of him,but his back was towards him."Let him go." He said and with that they dropped him. He hit the ground with a huff.

"This is the last time you think you can try to snitch on us. Got it." He said,back still facing him." Can't make any promises." The one that was injured smirked."Then it will be last time you even breath!" He turned around and pulled out something silver with a handle? Wait it was a gun. I held my breath. I wasn't the only one too. I hesitated before doing something I would regret.

I held my breath,so this is it. At least I wouldn't have to deal with the pain anymore. I closed my eyes,waiting to die. Then I heard something, sounded like hissing. I opened my eyes to see a black cat in front of me,hissing at Zane and his two minions. He laughed."Wow,a cat. Sooo scary." That's when something we didn't expect."You better be. Now back off!"

The.Cat.Talked?! What the hell was going on?"Did that cat just talked?" Asked one of his minions."Yeah. That's not the only thing, I'm about to kick your ass if you don't leave now!" And then,to my surprise, they ran. Screaming. The cat turned towards me. One red eye and the other blue."You ok?" She asked." I think so." I said, sitting up a little bit. I cringed in pain."No your not. Uh..hold on." She trotted away.

'Where on earth is she going.' I though. After a couple minutes a girl came. She had red hair,a little pale and had the same eyes as the cat."Ok,let me help you up." She said trying to help me on my feet."Uh..are you t-" she cut me off." The cat that saved your life,yep." She smiled.'How is that possible?' I thought. Once on my feet,she just started at me."What?"
"I can't hear you..." She said,giving a confused look." I said-" she cut me off again." No I mean,I can't hear your thoughts." She said still staring at me."What do you mean?" I asked but she didn't answer." Never mind. Come on,let's get you home."
