I Get To Ride A Dolphin

After the fight, I went to the Dining Pavilion and ate my breakfast. Then I went back to Cabin 3. On my way, other demigods, congratulate me for keeping the camp safe. I smiled as I walked through them.

Neville opened the door and I suspected she is...

"Going, somewhere sis?" I asked. "Are you going to Jay?"

Her face turned red.

"No! Of course not!" She said in defense. "I'm going to check Sophia at the infirmary."

I gave her a suspicious look.

"I swear, I won't." She says. "Good luck 'bout Dad. And say hi for me."

I sighed and went inside our cabin. It was empty. Beds made of marble and sand. I found my bunker at the back beside the window.

After I finished packing, I noticed I missed lunch. A glamorous fountain stands on the center of the cabin so I went there. I fished out a drachma, a Greek coin, in my pocket and threw it to a rainbow, made by the light of the window at the top and the water of the fountain, and uttered the words:

"O Iris, Goddess of Rainbow, accept my offering."

The light shimmered and the picture of my step brother Triton appeared. We we're close but not that close. He's really annoyed about the disney movie, Little Mermaid, that movie was so wrong they made Triton hold the Trident which belongs to our father, Poseidon.

He noticed me and smiled. But something about that odd smile makes me curious.

"Sup bro?" He asked. "What's the prob?"

"Oh, you know, just checking and by the way, I'm going there tonight." I said. "Tell dad."

"You can always call directly at him, you know." He reminded me. "But alright, have a safe trip."

"I dont want to 'disturb' him, anyway." I said as he sighed. "What's wrong?"

"I cant explain here, you have to go here. Because things here are really getting out of control."

I nodded and said goodbye. I ran my hand through the light to end the call. I have a bad feeling about tonight. A part of me tells to go, the other part tells me don't.

I went to eat my dinner and sat at cabin three's table. I sat beside Neville with my other siblings, or should I say, sea-blings.

"You want to come tonight?" I asked her.

"No, I'm gonna go with the Hunters, as soon as Sophia recovers." She answered. "I'm gonna inform Lady Artemis about the prophecy."

I left out a part, actually a big part, of my food and threw it in the camp fire. It was an offering for my godly parent, just like we all do everyday.

Chiron called me so, I got my bag and went to him. He bid me goodbye, so as the others. Edric, son of Hephaestus, gave a small device with a blue button, he said I'll press this if I need help. Since it has a hoop it in, I put it in my camp neckles with beads representing each important event every camp year.

I gone ahead to the beach and called my hippocampus, half-horse and half-fish, also named Pat. I named him after his awesome and sassy owner. After a few moments, he came. A shining, shimmering, splendid, I mean, shining and shimmering horse-fish came. Its fish tail reflecting the sunlight warms my eyes. Its blue hair camoflauges the water. He neighed and I sat on his back.

At first, I have to hold on tight because riding a hippocampus is like riding ten jet skis. The wind shuffling my hair. Bringing tears in my eyes. With a surprise we dived into the deep sea. Now, being a Poseidon kid has it own advantage like hydrokinesis, breathing underwater, keeping yourself dry and communication with horses.

We we're on our way to my dad's palace, Atlantis. It's the most wonderful sea place you will ever see. But, mortals would be dumb looking for it since the mist, a magical barrier where it separates the unusual things from the modern world, covers it up. We we're so near when Pat stopped. I asked him what's wrong but he just stand still.

Can he stand on water? I dont know. But he was perfectly still. I cant read his thoughts because something's blocking me. His beady black eyes turned white as pearls and he went crazy. He swam in circles as I fell like a sign of panicking and swam away from me, swimming further to the depths of the sea.

I guess, I'll just walk my way. I met many sea creatures and no, don't expect me to sing Under the sea. You can never hate the sceneries here under the ocean. The coral formations, exotic fishes and there's still more if those puny mortals didn't wreck some. I saw a cave near. Inside was pitch black and covered with sea weeds. But I know where it leads and without a doubt went inside it.

I closed my mouth from the most beatiful sea palace in the whole wide world. Dad really did his best for this. But I noticed there were just a few animals roaming around, but there were still mermans and mermaids swimming around. I asked one of them to escort me to my Dad. He guided me towards a big and tall door and opened it.

Inside was the sea god. A tan, muscular guy with a trimmed black beard holding a trident taller than me. He noticed me and shook his head.

"What brings you here, son?" He asked. "Is it about the prophecy?"

"How'd you know?" I asked. "Yes and about that, my hippocampus has been acting weird."

"Prophecies spread like wildfire, son. The prophecy's prediction about the creatures' rage is actually happening like right now." He answered.

I'm not shocked. Things like this can happen anytime, anywhere. I asked where was Triton but he gave me a worried look.

"He went with the other mermans to check the old sea god. We think he is responsible for this." He answered.

"Oceanus." I said.

Now this shocked me. If Oceanus is really behind all this then it's gonna be hard. He was the Titan god of the sea before Poseidon took the realm from him. Facing a titan would be really dangerous.

"I'm gonna go there." I said. "I'll ask Delphin."

And then I storm out of the room to find Delphin. I saw him talking to other minor gods. He was a dolphin, hence his name where it came from, a big dolphin with sharp teeth and sharp eyes.

I gathered all my confidence and went to him. Now, facing him was a bit crazy as much as when he talked.

"Lord Delphin, I need a ride." I asked. "To where Triton is."

It was hard to convince him but I promised to let him eat a one month supply of fish from my dad. As a dolphin, it was easy for him to locate Triton since he has sonar. We got there fast, really really fast.

I saw Triton and other mermans wrapped up a glowing rope inside a cave. In the dark, was a deep voice talking to my brother. I was gonna go get help but Delphin sqeaked. Do dolphins sqeak? We hurriedly got away but I saw a two big octopus chasing us. I grabbed Delphin's fin and we swam away. It wasn't a good choice because they were still following us.

We swam into a dead end and I panicked. Delphin made a sound that sounds loke calling for help. I dont know if we ever get help knowing other creatures were in rage.

I grabbed my necklace to show the device. I looked at it and hesistated whether to press it or not. The two octopus was closing into us.

Then I pressed the blue button.
