Prologue

  He never thought it was possible, and he never thought he would lose her this way. 

  As she slips through his fingers, Alfred could only shout her name until it felt like his throat was bleeding. Her tear-stricken face reflected the same amount of panic of his own and he exerted all his energy and strength he could muster to keep her from totally slipping away from him. 

  But the force was too strong and as she was dragged away from him, a pair of strong arms caught her and tightly wrapped around her waist.

"Alfred!" She screamed while still trying to reach out to him desperately.

  The dark red-haired man's grip holds her even closer, his face resting on her neck as he looks back at Alfred with a possessive glint in his crimson eyes. 

  For the first time ever, Alfred felt powerless. "You can't take her. She has nothing to do with you." 

  Allen chuckled and threw him a wicked smirk, "She is mine, the last part to complete my soul. I have waited too long for this reunion, and I wouldn't let anyone take her away from me again" 

  Then everything around them began to spin again. Y/n eyes widen in fear. She saw Alfred getting up from his knees to charge forward, his hand reaching out to grab her own. But before their fingers could even touch Allen pulled her backwards and the force that separates them became stronger, pushing him several feet away from them. Y/n suddenly found herself crying in desperation and calling out his name.

"ALFRED!"

"Y/N!" 

 Alfred yelled for her. He could feel his sanity slipping gradually seeing her taken from away from him. He tried to stand up again but his body was paralyzed, unable to move and he felt useless than ever. And then, he could hear a voice that totally same as his own but deeper, echoing through his mind.

"You are my reincarnation, yet you don't deserve her. I have waited for more than a century to be with her, and you will not take that away from me."

And the next thing Alfred knew was that his Y/n has been taken away from him and he passed out.
