Hey uh, Pat? Trish? Tricia? Patricia? whatever your nickname is. I'm reminding you that there will be no class tomorrow but we're having our selection of clubs :)
I got a text from Zero yesterday and I just read it this morning, tuesday. Yes, we started texting. I don't know but I feel comfy to him. He looks harmless. He's kind of fun and -
"I'm not driving you today, blondie." Jedd came in and before I can complain he shut the door and left. He's mean, isn't he? Typical Jedd.
I sighed.
I checked the time and it's already 8:30 in the morning and I have 30 minutes left to go to school. The selection of clubs starts at 9 so I think I'm gonna be late not because I'm having a problem of preparing for school but because my very nice brother won't drive me to school.
"A 20 minute walk, how's that sound, patricia?" I sighed at my own thoughts.
I showered and wore my usual pair of jeans, shirt and vans. A normal student, ofcourse. But I'm not forgetting my signature outfit, which is my flannel. I went downstairs, seeing no one so I decided to just eat an apple and I'm ready to go.
I started walking but as I walk, my body melts. I'm like a fish being fried right now because of this 'super hot' weather. Not time to give up, pat. I can do this. I continued walking as fast as I could just then, my phone rang. "Ugh!"
"Who are you?! I'm not in the mood today!" I said and hung up my phone.
Not long enough, I arrived, looking a haggard piece of shit.
"Hey!"
"Hey, Zero" I greeted back and he smiled. I don't know why I'm being nervous though I don't really have to because we're friends."You did sound like an angry old woman earlier. Not in the mood, why's that?" He asked as we made our way to the gym.
"You were the one who called me? Gosh, sorry. I didn't-"
"It's okay. really"
"Well yeah" I said. "The sun's like frying me alive. I don't know but I think I'm gonna punch someone today."
"Woah" he said and kinda raised his hands as if surrendering in a war.
"Ha funny! Wanna be punched?" he sent me a very terrified look so I laughed. SO HARD.
"You're brutal." He said and I just smiled.
We just entered the gym full of booths, banners and screaming cheerleaders. Well, they're like screaming for me. Those annoying tangling voices. We walked by the booths and I can see the mathenius club, sci-wizard club, and all the academics club. So? Do I look like I care? NO. I have no time for this. Instead, I can be full and enjoy my time with foods but because I have to impress my parents this year, I needed this.
