Comet The Vampire

Bad News for a Friend

While I was sitting there thinking about what to do next Sara came and sat next to me. I look over at her and she said, "What are we going to do? From the Vampire army to us being the rebellion and to you and I dating behind Max's back." I started to think about what she had just said which kind of made me scared. I never thought about it in that way. "Well if Max finds out he will understand I hope. The vampire army isn't going to be to hard to deal with. All we have to do is recruit more unclaimed vampires to help us." I said. After I said that Max walks in and sees Sara and I talking. "What you two talking about?" Max asked. Sara panicked and Jumped up and said, "Oh nothing. We weren't talking about anything at all." Max looks at me for an answer and I got up and said, "We were getting ready to discuss a plan on how we are going to take out the vampire army."

So we all sit down and I pullout a map of the United States. "As of right now there are 400 unclaimed vampires across the country. We were three of them two years ago. So we know how these kids and teens feel." I said as I looked at Sara. "Okay, so now what do we do Comet. There is three of us and four thousand of them we can't get to those unclaimed vampires before they do." Max said while he looked at the map. I looked at him and thought to myself that he could be right they are probably looking for these vampires as we speak.

"Max that doesn't mean we can't try. They need us as much as we need them." Sara said. Max looked at her in shock. "Sara you maybe right but I don't want to take the risk of losing you they are stronger than us. They have been vampires for hundreds of years we have only been vampires for two years; and somehow Comet is the only one who has managed to get stronger." Max says as he starts to get angry. I stepped in between them to keep Max from doing anything stupid. "Max you need to go and cool off before anything happens." I said as I gave him the look of seriousness.

As Max left Sara looked at me and fell to her knees. I hugged her to assure her that she was going to be okay. She starts to cry on my shoulder and I rub her back. "You are going to be okay Sara. He is only in protection mode." I said. Sara looks at me crying and all I can think about is how I can help her. Today wasn't the day for us to get mad at each other. "All I want to know is why he cares so much about me. He needs to worry about how we are going to stop the vampire army." Sara said while crying still. "Are you okay Sara?" I said in a comforting voice. Max walks in looking at us and asked what was going on. At that moment I felt as if he needed to know about me and Sara.

So that night Sara and I decided to tell Max about us. Max walks into the living room and Sara says, "Max we have something to tell you." Max looks at me and gives me a look to say what is going on. I knew that Sara wasn't going to tell him. "Well what she is trying to tell you is that Sara and I are dating. Don't get mad she is happy." Max looks at Sara and smiles and says, "I am going to say this once and only once Comet, if you hurt her I will kill you, myself." After hearing Max say that I wondered how he was going to kill me. He forgets that I'm stronger obviously. Honestly I didn't care as long as Sara was happy I didn't care. Sara hugged him and then hugged me. "So we are still cool Max?" I asked. That same moment Max looked at me and smiled. "Yeah Comet we are cool. You are my best friend why wouldn't we be cool?" Max said.
