Caleb sat in home room waiting for Max to finish talking to Maddie, his sister. In the mean time, Caleb was talking to Chris Wells, another one of their friends.
"Hey did you finish the Math homework?"
"Yes." Caleb responded.
"Can I-"
"NO. You can't see my paper. Really Chris do you ever actually do your homework?" Caleb cut Chris off before he could finish his sentence.
"Uuuuuggh. Fine." Chris turned to the girl in front of him. Her name was Madison Skehan. She had short black hair, green eyes, and was very pale.
"Maddie, did you do the homework?"
"No, I didn't understand it. These two are helping me." The two she was referring to were Aubrey Simmons, and Grace Dean. Aubrey was short-ish, had blue eyes, and dark dirty blonde hair that fell to her shoulders. She would be cute if she wore something other than baggy pants, and an oversized sweatshirt. Grace was taller than Aubrey, she was Asian, and had long black hair, green eyes and glasses. She was wearing an AOT sweatshirt and jeans. She was pretty and smart. But she had an attitude, and if you pissed her off, she would not be afraid to bitch slap you. Hard.
"Hey Aubrey can I have your homework?" Chris asked.
"Fine." Aubrey sounded pretty reluctant to oblige, but she would always help. Aubrey handed the paper to Chris.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Maybe 2 minutes had passed until Max walked in. Caleb felt the all too familiar light headed-ness of seeing Max. He strode in with his dark brown hair forming a wave atop his head, blue eyes, slightly tanned skin, and, per usual, a plain blue sweatshirt, joggers, and work boots.
"Hey Caleb!" He said in his usual enthusiastic tone.
"Hey Max!"
Caleb heard a giggle obviously coming from Maddie.
"They probably won't end up together. They're straight."
Aubrey couldn't have been more pissed at the suggestion.
"HEY!I THINK WE ALL KNOW THAT JACK AND ROSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER! CALEB AND MAX ARE MY JACK AND ROSE SO STOP BEING THE ICEBERG TO MY TITANIC MADDIE!" She shouted in her naturally loud voice.
"Aubrey!" The teacher looked exasperated with Aubrey. "Go to guidance! Now!"
"Ugh. Fiiiiiiine." She pouted. Aubrey glared at Madison.
"Don't you ever talk about my ship like that." After Aubrey left, Caleb laughed and said "All that over one ship? That chick has no filter." Almost immediately after Caleb said that, the announcements came, and thus the end of the announcements signaled the start of Related Arts.
