Have you ever heard of the Fates? No? That's a good thing. Yes? Then you must feel some of my pain.
Needless to say, they love their job. Whether they make someone's life miserable, happy (rarely), or so-so.
Everyone's life is in the palm of their hands, creepy right, they could do anything they wanted.
How would I know? Well, I guess you could say that they're like family to me.
NOT That I appreciate it.
It's almost like in the the story "Sleeping Beauty" you know those three fairies who bestow gifts to the baby princess?
Okay, imagine them getting rid of the fancy robes, to then be drowned in lava, making them lose their voices so they sound horrid and eerie, while their faces are beaten against anything that's made of metal or concrete, surviving.
Yup, those creepy hags running through your imagination is what I had to live with my whole life. I guess I'm like the baby princess, except, I DO NOT have gifts like that bestowed upon me.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I did have to live with them until I turned fifteen.
And that is where my story begins.
