It has been a month of mental and physical torture for me. From the guards and myself. The one I insulted last month was named Finn. He has been a very angry man towards me since.
I did some digging from the cell and realized some thugs that had black hair and eyes, like me, took his daughter from him. Its sad that he has stereotyped us to be like the thugs.

Who is "us", you might ask. Our ancestors are hybrids, we are the hybrids of the future. We are the HOFs. In prison we have school. Our teacher is named Mrs. Brank. She has short and wavy blonde hair and a happy face with pink cheeks and red lipstick to top it off. But when she is around us, her sky blue eyes turn dark. She never smiles but only towards me. I don't know why.

"Ugh! It smells in here!" She complained today.
"Probably because you people won't let us shower or change! We have been wearing the same thing as we came!" Someone in the back protested.

I don't like the back I just sit in the front saying nothing. But inside I agreed. I am wearing the same dirty clothes since May 22nd, a black striped T-shirt tucked into a pink skirt. My knees are torn and bruised from being thrown to the ground so many times.

I have taken off my pink tights that had gone with my skirt and left them in my cell because of the holes. They have been filling with dirt and sweat, leaving my feet sticky and gross. My shirt and skirt has patches of brown on them. I am so dirty, I need a mirror now!

"Now class!" Ms. Brank snaps me out of my gaze, I look up at her smile.
"Why are aliens horrendous creatures?"

"We are hybrids, not creatures. We are humans too!" Said the person next to me. She had a long neck and face, her eyes were all black. It is scary, her whole entire eyeball was black. My eyes are black like that too. So this is what all of us look like to you.

"I agree!" I say standing up.
"Aren't we more than just martians from the moon?"

"Sit down! All of you!" She shrieks. I sit down quickly out of fear. "Besides, those our only our points of view. Your stupid point of view..."
"It is not stupid!" I argue, standing up again.

" Elle! Are you trying to get sent to the main office?"

" What are they gonna do at the main office? Spank me? I'm pretty its been illegal for now a few thousand years." I snap back.

"GO! I hate to do this but I'm going escorting you to the main office."

" Ooh!" I say with sarcasm.

Ms. Brank grabbed me by the shoulder, her lips were stapled together. Her straight eyes looked straight ahead with a bit of emotion all around. She led me to my cell. Oh no. I think the main office was a big deal than I thought.

She told me to pick everything I had and go with her. I obeyed out of fear. What was she going to do to me? What were they going to do to me? I followed her to a black door that looked like the one I came in through. Then she opens the door.

It was.

She wanted me to escape.
"What are you doing?"
"Setting you free, are you blind? Go!" She said nervously looking around.

" But why?" I ask.
" Because," she said as she got a case full of contacts out, and lifted the top of her hair line, a wig.

"I'm one of you."

She handed the contacts to me along with a small pocketbook I never noticed. She told me she had more inside. I thanked her as she pushed me out and shut the door. What next?

I shoved the contacts into my bag and ran. The sky was dark blue, all the trees looked black, it must've been seven. I ran towards them, fast, really fast. I'm known for being the fastest in my school.

Trees were just dark blurs, the land ahead was coming closer, I don't know where I'm going.

Then I stopped. I was out of breath, out of fuel. I sat down on the damp leaves and took out the bag. There were a lot of useful things.

She packed a small flask filled with water, some pieces of bread, crackers, and cheese. There was a compact mirror, and the contacts.

Carefully, I broke off a piece of a cracker and let it melt on my tongue.
I looked behind me, there was a nice tall tree there, waiting. I got up and slowly walked closer to the tree. Suddenly, out of nowhere, sirens go off. I must still be close to the camps. They probably figured it out.

"Go! Go! Go! Find her!" I heard from a distance. I attacked the waiting tree. Climbing like a hungry ape. I climbed and climbed to the near top. My backpack falling off of my shoulder but I had to work with it.
"Quiet!" I told myself, "they cab probably hear you shuffling from a mile away."
I lie on the branch of the tree, panting from fear. I breathed in and out, trying to calm myself. Individuals had tried to find me. Streams of light flew around the air, looking.
One guy came near. He was looking up at all the trees thinking I'd hide in one. And of course, stupid me, I did.
Think stupid! What do I do now? The next tree was awfully near. So I stuck my leg out and stretched it over to the limb of one of the branches. If I fail, I die.
I stretched as much as I could then outstretched my arms. I tried to grip the tree but my arms are to short. I started to slip, I automatically claw at the bark of the branches. Since I could not hold on longer I decided to do one thing and this one thing only. Jump.
