~• Colette's POV •~
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I roll out of bed and head to the bathroom. I hop in the shower and get all clean. I look down at my scars and remember everything everyone said. I shake it off because I know their words don't matter anymore. I hop out and dry myself off. After I dry my hair I put on my make up..foundation, bronzer shimmer, eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. I curl my long blonde hair and put on my clothes for today.

And red converse
I put on my locket from my dad and head downstairs to eat (if my mom is even home). There's a note on the counter "meetings all day..will be home late.Take the money and buy groceries." I looked underneath and there was $120. Okay nice. I look down at my phone and I saw that my best friend and neighbor, Hayes Grier, texted me and said he'll be over in 5 to meet up and walk to school. I grab the last pop tart out of the pantry and eat one. I'm walking out the door and I see Hayes waiting for me or more likely the pop tart in my hand. He's wearing his football jersey and khakis. He looked, really cute. I gave him the pop tart and say
' sup Grier?'
' sup girl'
' haha don't ever say that again'
' whatever'
We walked to school just talking about everything there is to talk about. We get to our lockers and I turn around and see my bestest of all friends and he's back from LA and I screamed ' DALLAS!!' He looks at me and his
face lights up and screams 'COLETTE!!' We run to eachother at full speed and he picks me up and holds me tight in his arms. He got buffer. 'Damn cam you are like built' I said while feeling his arms. "Yeah lol. Have you cut since I left?"
"Nope 😊"
" you sure?"
"Wanna check?"
"Yes actually but not right here"
"Whatever dallas"
We head over to my locker and then met up with Nash, Matt, Hayes, and Shawn and his gf(my bffl) Alex. I hugged Alex and everyone was greeting cam. We heard the bell and we all went our ways to our classes. I was in history first with Hayes in all of my classes. The lunch bell finally rang in English and we all met up once again in the commons. As I was walking to go to the table I looked at Hayes and the way he looked at me and smiled it made me feel something..it made me feel, good and bubbly on the inside.i sat down next to hayes with him on my right and cam on my left.I couldn't stop staring at hayes the entire time we were at lunch..why was I acting like this? This was so weird of me. I think im in love with Hayes.
Hayes' POV
When I met up with Colette this morning, she looked stunning. I've always had a crush on her but I knew she would never like me back. At lunch I couldn't help but notice her staring at me, maybe she felt the same way back. I skipped the last class of the day and I just wandered around the school. I decided to wait for Colette to go home..then I saw Brianna. The girl who bullied my princess for years. The school bell rang and classes were dismissed. I walked up to Brianna and before I got a word out of my mouth she reached behind my neck and started kissing me. I didn't know what was happening it all happened so quick.

It was finally the end of the day and I was looking for my walking buddy to walk home with me but I couldn't find Hayes anywhere. He wasn't in last period so that was really strange. I shrugged it off and walked towards the doors and I walked outside and I saw Hayes but someone's hands were behind his neck..and I tried looking at a better angle to see who it was...it was the girl who bullied me for years, the girl who got expelled for being a bully to me sucking face with my best friend and I was feeling like sad and hurt and jealous and rage. the girl who made my life a living hell and she laughed making out with the guy I love.
" Hayes!"
" Colette!"
" what are you doing?"
"I don't even know"
Brianna interrupted " oh Hayes. You know what you were doing, you were kissing me and might I say you're kissing skillz are very good."
I said " shut up Brianna! Nobody asked for you to be here so get your slut mouth, get out of here and go suck another guys dick. That makes what? 10 this week??"
She hmffed, gave Hayes a wink and walked away. I looked at Hayes and I couldn't read his face...
Hayes' POV
Brianna came up to me and started kissing me and before I could notice anything was happening I heard a voice behind me that said my name. I turned around as fast as I could and I saw Colette with hurt in her eyes. She said my name and I heard so much hurt in her voice...I couldn't believe I hurt her like that...I could never forgive myself.
