I felt like my eyes were swelling so i gently put m. wrists on my eyes, only to find them wet. Had I been crying?
I tried to conjure up any part of my dream only to draw a blank. I pondered what it could have been. I finally gave and fell backwards on my bed with a heavy sigh.
I flipped to face a much needed touched up wall. I closed my eyes and enjoyed as the peace and silence enveloped me in its arms. A light sigh came out as I wished for this moment to stay, but I could feel myself drifting off to sleep. I knew tomorrow would be another day of hell on earth. No matter how much I prayed to someone who might not be there, wished upon a star who may not be listening, or hoped with a heart that's just not in it. Nothing will ever change for me. It's hopeless to dream. This is just a small beginning to the first chapter. I hope you enjoyed, and come back to read more.
