Ren's Pov
We are in the van on our way to this location. I decided to wear a flannel crop top, black sweatpants , and my black matte doc martens. Leo thinks it's weird that I'm wearing a crop top but this is who I am. I'm a gender fluid person and I'm okay with that. The card said to wear something that represents you so I wore this.
The van stops moving and we all get silent. The doors slide open and my heart drops. We step out the car into a military training base. The general stands in front of us while the soldiers stand in rows behind him.
" Oh hell no" August says turning back towards the van but Oliver pulls him back
" Finally the princesses have arrived. Welcome to Military Training. You're probably wondering why you're here. You'll be spending some time here and learn how to be a real man. We will provide you with a uniform but that is all. You have to depend on whatever else you have with you at the moment." General says
Good thing I always carry a little backpack around. It has a sewing kit, my phone, gum, eyeliner and lip products, mirror, comb, and some hair ties.I wear eye liner because last time I checked eye liner wasn't made for just girls to wear. These guys look older than me, and they're scary looking.
" The ages here range from 17-20. Let's all head inside and get to know each other better" he says as they all look at us with evil smiles
We head inside the big building and into a room. There's chairs in a big circle and we all have a seat. Leo grabs my hand and pulls me to the chair next to him. He knows I'm the youngest here and he's trying to protect me.
" Alright let's start with the crop top princess, please tell us your name, age, and a little fact about yourself " he says as everyone laughs but us. I lightly bow in my chair before I start.
" Hi, My name is Ren, I'm 15 years old, and I'm half Korean" I say as they ooh
" You're the youngest here, the boys like em young" general says trying to scare me
" Don't think you won't get beat up just because you're young" some blonde guy says
" I have insurance on all of my body parts" I say as everyone oohs
" You have no idea who you're messing with kid" he says
" And you have no idea who you're messing with" I say
" Who the hell are you? You're just a gay little kid" he says
" He's Ren K Styles and by styles I mean Harry styles...who is his dad." August says
" Look, I don't care who's son you are. You better watch your back" he says as I roll my eyes
We do all of the other introductions and then everyone heads their separate ways. We stay in the room to hear what captain has to say.
" Simon sent you here to toughen you up. Now you see why he sent you here. These kids are out to get you. Ren, they're gonna touch you and scare you. Leo they're gonna make you mad but you can't kill any of them. August, Oliver, and Caspar, they're gonna talk bad about your dads but there's nothing I can do." He says
" Now for your rooms, Ren you'll be in House #1, That guy you were arguing with earlier, his name is Brett and he's in House #1 too. I think this will toughen you up" he says as my heart drops
We all get assigned to different houses so we head in different directions. Before I walk away, Leo grabs my hand and pulls me back.
" I'm right next door if you need me. Don't get raped kid" he says patting my back
Gee thanks I'll definitely try not to get raped. I open the door to the house and it's empty. They must be out playing around.
" Hello?" I call out
" Hi" an Asian boy says coming down the stairs
" Hi could you help me find my room?" I ask
" Yes, sorry about my english" he says
" Oh it's fine. What language do you speak?" I ask
" Korean" he says
" Ah! I knew you looked Korean. I'm Ren" I say
" I'm Mino. You speak Korean?" He asks
" Yeah my mom is Korean" I say
" Anyway your room is this way" he says leading me
" There are 3 rooms. Each room has 4 beds so the rooms are pretty big." He says
He shows me my bed by the window. His bed is next to mine. The other 2 beds are in front of us. I sit on the bed as Brett and some other guy comes in.
" Oh great the queer is in our room" Brett says
" He's probably gonna rape us" the other guy says
I just decide to ignore them. They laugh as they sit on their beds.
" The names Josh by the way" the other guy says
" Ren" I say
" Ren sounds so gay" he says
" Doesn't it?" I say
" I wish I could stand up for myself " Mino says
" I can't do it all the time" I respond
" Hey! English only" Brett says
" I always talk Korean" Mino says
" Yeah but he speaks it too. You could be talking shit about us" he says
We put on our pajamas which is just a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. Everyone gets in bed and falls asleep. Tomorrow is gonna be hell.
