One of the guards pulled up a new chair for my dad to sit on next to Michelle and me.

Michelle's eyes were wide as she looked at my dad and I. I rolled my eyes.

I reached up to my face ripping off the entire prosthetic make up stuff that I'd used to mold my face to look like Savannah George.

"Seriously dad?! Couldn't you wait at least till I graduated to tell the world I'm studying here?" I say it with anger, but I'm keeping myself in check. Talking to a man this powerful was no joke; especially growing up, we learned to never say things in public. Always discuss at home.

But my dad was never one to be a stuck up snob. That's why the people voted for him to be president. He was the playful and loving father and an even better husband. I'd grown up to look up to my father.

My heart melted knowing how hard he worked for this family. So I settled back into my seat and set the prosthetic plastic into the tray, so they would throw it away.

"Okay, we will discuss this at home," I say pointedly to my dad. And my dad keeps grinning at me with a playful look and I can't help but smile back.

"Okay fine! I forgive you!" I say looking at him and he leans back into his own chair. The owner of Culture comes running towards my dad.

"President Turner! It's an honor to meet you, sir." My dad stands up smiling and the second he opens his mouth, everyone becomes dead silent to hear what he's about to say.

"My daughter here tells me about how amazing this place is all the time. I thought I would come here and check it out myself." He says with a laugh pointing at me.

I grin tightly as I look away from the owner's surprised look, and at Michelle.

"You're angry," I say it as a statement

"No, I'm not angry. I'm fuming!" Michelle says, "How could you not tell me! We're best friends, I'm supposed to know everything about you!" I roll my eyes back laughing.

"You are my best friend. And you do know everything about me. Protocol says I can't just go parading around like I'm the president's daughter. Plus the only lie I've ever told you was my name was Savannah." I say trying to be as honest as possible.

Michelle glowers at me, "Yes I know what your name is Reign Savannah Turner! All of America knows your name! Couldn't you have at least given me a warning before I threw you your 21st birthday?" she says sitting back with a blush on her face and I laugh out loud.

Michelle being Michelle threw me a surprise 21st birthday at her place and the theme was sex toys. You can only imagine how that night ended. Most of my presents consisted of the weirdest things imaginable.

"Also, you look so much better without that plastic on your face. Your face doesn't look so disfigured." Michelle said as she squinted looking at me.

My mouth fell open.

"I didn't look disfigured! I just looked.... Different!" I said defensively.

"Tell all the boys that." said Michelle with a wink, and I glowered at her.

This was one of the other reasons I didn't want people to know me as Reign Savannah Turner. All the boys I had dated so far had known me for me. But again, I barely dated much. I didn't want people to ever figure me out.

I guess that's something, as a person who lived in the public eye didn't want. You want to remain a mystery to people.

My dad turned back to us and sat down.

"So how's college Rey?" he asked grabbing my chocolate drink and taking a sip. His eyes widened.

"What is this drink?" he asked, and as usual, I didn't have to answer because the barista's were paying all the attention they could.

"That's a special I make for Ms. Reign, she likes chocolate, sir. So I named it Sav's Chocolate." I almost roll my eyes knowing that she made that up on the spot, but there were no negative sides to having a yummy drink named after you.

"Well, I want 10 of these packed and shipped with me to go back to DC. Can you guys do that?" he said turning around and saying it as a joke. But the barista's just nodded and ran into the back getting ready.

"You know that your can't kid around in public right, dad?" I say laughing at him.

"I don't mind 10 of these drinks to take back to Carter and Kate, they would love it." I looked up quickly.

"Both of them are already home?" I ask with my knee bouncing up and down.

"Oh crap, it was supposed to be a surprise for you. Don't tell them I told you. Act surprised." I let out a small cheer.

"I can't wait." I said rubbing my palms against my knees and suddenly stopped.

"Wait a second, why are you here? As in here New York?" I asked.

"I wanted to surprise you and pick you up. We're heading back to DC in a couple of hours. I thought, why not take the family plane home instead."

I just nodded.

"But I need to pick up my things from my room, everything is already packed and in suitcases," I say. My dad just nods sipping my drink.

"Already picked everything up. And why do you have two suitcases? I don't see the point of it. You have everything at home, and you won't be wearing dresses from your closet for the three state dinners, and a couple personal dinners. Your mom already has her designer ready to dress up you kids. So don't worry about all that." I just nod

"No, no, those suitcases are old things I need to get rid off. I've had them since junior year, so I thought I would dump them into my room and finally have more space." My dad raises an eyebrow at me when I say this.

"I got you one of the best penthouses in New York and you don't have space?" my dad says this with wide eyes.

I roll my eyes.

"Any place in New York is almost suffocatingly small. Having free space makes me feel way better." I say it and start picking up my black sling bag from my chair.

"Anyway, Michelle, we're going to leave. I will see you after spring break. Be safe. Call me if you need anything." I say to her and she's nodding.

"Oh and that dude that's been following me. Well, he's my bodyguard. Sorry." I say with a small laugh. And finally, Michelle replies.

"What about our plans to move to my place for the senior year. Is all of this why you were trying to avoid the topic?" She asks. And I uncomfortably push a free hair out of my face to behind my ear.

"Yeah, I thought that if I avoided it, I wouldn't have to tell you who I really was. But now that you know, how about moving into my place. It's bigger than yours and we can have fun." I say trying to bring up her spirit. I can only imagine how angry I would be if my best friend betrayed me and didn't tell me about her biggest secret. So I knew I had to make it up to Michelle.

"Hey, dad?" I said turning towards him. He looked away from his conversation.

"Yeah honey?" he said to me.

"Can I bring Michelle home for a week around the time of Carter's birthday? And maybe thanksgiving?" thanksgiving was something strictly for close friends and family only, so my dad understood where I was coming from.

"Of course, you can bring Michelle home, just give the details to Jay on when you want to fly out, and we'll take care of everything." I smiled big and turned towards her.

She glowered at me.

"You know I love you, and yes I'll move in with you and come with you for your family weekends. But you owe me big! How could you not tell me." she starts asking again and I roll my eyes and pull her into a hug.

"See you soon Mitch." I say, and she winces and glowers at me even more with the stupid nickname I gave her.

"Let's go Rey." My dad says and the second he does his guards surround him and me and we walk out, into the blinding light with camera's going off.
