Keisha's Heart

"Keisha" I hears from another room. So i heads towards my aunts room. What are you doing asked my aunt Felicia. nothing just laying in the bed auntie I replied. Do you need anything auntie?

No I was just checking on you. Oh ok auntie Well auntie ima bout to go take a walk I'll be back in a few. Ok call me if you need anything keisha, ok I will auntie. As I started back walking to the other room and puts on my shoes.

I'm gone auntie I yells to her and walks out the front door. I needed a break from being in the house all day with my six siblings and my three cousins. I starts to walk around the neighborhood before going to my friend takenya house. She only stay two streets down. As I walk down the next street i runs into my annoying ex coby.

Coby looks at me and yells "keisha" but I keeps walking. So you gone do me like that coby yells to me. I slowly turns around and tell him Yea its gone be just like that and we don't have shit to talk about. As he walk towards me he replies, don't act like that baby. I just kept walking down the street.

Before I could make it halfway down the street. I hear someone talking as I looked around looking for the man behind that voice. The man comes out of no where and say hey beautiful. I smiled and replied hey handsome. I looked at him from head to feet. He's so tall, darkskin, sexy, and with long hair.

What is your name beautiful? He asks. My name is keisha I replied and what is yours? I ask and he replied my name is Donovan but you can call me pooh and its nice to meet you he says to me. I replied with a huge smile and nice to meet you pooh.

Well I need to be going I says to pooh. He looks at me and ask for my number with no hesitation. I said sure and gave him my number. So I started walking again to head to Kenya's house. I left pooh standing in the middle of the road. I couldn't believe I gave him my number.

I'm just smiling to myself and still walking but I was one house down from my destination. I finally walks up the stairs onto the front porch. I knocks twice on the door before anyone comes to the door. I hear Kenya sister dameria voice "WHO IS IT?" she yells and I replied its keisha.

She opens the door and I walks in asking her where is Kenya? She replies o she's at church. So I turns around to walk back outside telling dameria to tell her I stopped by. I begin to walk back to my auntie house smiling from ear to ear.

As I begin to turn on my auntie street I hear this voice calling my name. I turns around yelling coby that better not be your ass when I look up its pooh. Hey pooh and smiled at him. He asks me where are you going? I'm headed back to my uncle house I replied.

Can I walk you back he replied sure I said with a huge smile. He begins to ask me so many questions and I'm just getting butterflies and scared all in one. I couldn't believe this sexy man was interested in me and wanting to get to know me better.

We have reached to my destination and all I notice was all the cars in the yard and every light on in the house. I asked pooh would he like to stay he replied yes I would love to. So we begin to enter into the house not knowing who was all in there.

I notice my uncle is home the kids still there my ma just pulled up outside my auntie sisters newphew and niece's are here. The house is packed with people. I reached for Pooh's hand and goes back outside to finish talking.

As soon as I walk outside here comes my mommy asking a million questions. Keisha where you going? Hey ma I replied this is pooh and I'm not going no where its packed inside I replied. Hey my mother said to pooh I'm keisha mom Ms Ralena.

My mother walks into the house while me and pooh finish up our conversation outside. He has me blushing from ear to ear. He tells me its time for him to head home. Ok I replied as he comes close to me and ask for a hug. My heart start beating fast as he hugs me and his cologne hits my nose.

I walks into the house and notice my mother and siblings heads my way. Where are y'all going? I ask my mother she replies were going home. Are you ready to go? She asks me as I nods my head yes.

I finally gets home shower and goes to bed. As I lay there thinking about my day and the guy I just met. Its something about him that has me smiling for no reason. Ten minutes later I find myself falling asleep.
