Your POV:
I slowly rose from the dead, as the crisp, cold air hit me like a moving train. I shivered, and stood up leaving my warm, cozy bed, and headed to the nearest bathroom. I live in a two story house with a moderately sized backyard. The color of the house is a light (F/c), and has a brown oak door.
i hear my feet smack the cold, (f/c) tiled floor as i face the mirror. i notice, in front of the (f/c) framed mirror, that my (h/c) hair is a mess, my (s/c) lighter from lack of sunlight. ' mom always told me that sunlight on your skin makes it darker' i thought, as i reached for my (f/c) brush and crane it to my head. the painful feeling of hair tugging at my skin filled my body. tears pricked the edge of my eyes as the brush finally started to flow through my (h/c) hair. i moved out of the bathroom to get my clothes on. i grabbed a (f/c) crop top that said: i am to lazy to wear a full shirt, so i'll wear half: on it, then grabbed my navy blue skinny jeans.
i walk out of my house and locked it with my house keys. " alright! first order of business: meet the people in town." i spoke to myself softly, as i started skipping down the sidewalk. i came in contact with a cute, little donut shop. as i push the glass doors open, i am met with two figures. a short, blonde hair lady with a donut shirt on, and a tall, skinny guy with the same attire. " hello, what would you like to order?" asked the blonde hair lady, as i turned around to face them. " oh, n-nothing, i was just sight seeing. i-i just moved here" i stammered. welp, there goes my first impression.
i was going to go to the little fry place at the corner, but stopped. there was a magnificent sculpture on the beach. ' what in the name of-' i thought, as i ran for the beach.
as i got a little closer, i noticed a little house attached to the front of it, with the illusion that the sculpture is holding it. ' it's breathtaking!' i shouted mentally, as i took out my phone and took a picture of it. as i lower my phone i notice a small boy run my way. " hello, i'm steven! you must be new here! what's your name?" steven asked, as I politely told him, "(y/n)" while i smiled at his enthusiasm. " i guess your wondering about that." he spoke, as he pointed to the sculpture i was looking at. " o-oh yes! do you live in there?" i asked, curiosity filing my voice. " yep." steven replied bluntly, as he gripped my hand. " c'mon! i wanna show you it!" he shouted excitedly.
he opens the screen door so we can walk in, but he let me go in first. " why, thank you." i said to him, as we both reached our destination. " garnet, amethyst, pearl, i'm home!" steven yelled into the small household, as i gasped and looked at the big crystal looking thing on the floor. suddenly the door behind it glowed and opened, and a tall skinny figure walked out. " oh, hello steven! eh, who is this?" the figure questioned as she looked me up and down. i felt slightly uncomfortable with the retort. " that's (y/n)! she is new in beach city."" hi." i spoke, as pearl turned towards the door she came out of, and went back in. me and steven stared at each other in awkward silence as the door opened again, two figures came out this time. " hahaha! oh, garnet! that's the funniest thing i ever heard." said the small, purple person. " garnet, master of comedy." the other, tall form spoke, as the both turned their heads toward me.
