The Competition Part 1

Author's notes: For The Competition parts, I will put other character's Pov than just Joyce. That would be boring. So umm. Enjoy!

{Morning}
I wake up and I had the same nightmare as always. But this time, my hand isn't covered with blood. I smiled and did my morning routine.

"Fuck me." My hand started twitching and it hurts. I changed the wrapping bandage and grabbed my dual blades and went out.

I look to my right and Sam isn't going outside at the same time I was. I shrugged it out and teleported to the gym. Then I entered.

"Sam? Blake? Philip?" I said as I walked to them. "Oh hey Joyce." Sam said. "Good morning." Blake said. "Yes! Good morning indeed." Philip said.

I smiled and said "so you guys are setting up already?" Sam showed me something. "It's individuals." He said.

I nodded yes and said "I know." I saw someone behind Sam. "Hey guys." Zander said. We all greeted him. "My name isn't Alexander. It's Andrew." He said.

"Oh. Nice name." Blake said to him. I see him blush light red. "W-well good luck guys!" He quickly said and left. "Stop scaring away guys." I said to Blake.

She punched me and I laughed. "Why won't you ask him out?" Sam suggested. "I can't. It's because I'm s-scared okay! What happens if he rejects me?"

Blake said worried. "Stop worrying so much. That's what I do." I said. "Obviously." Blake said grinning. I punched her and I said "I'll be your wingman." Then I grinned.

I walked to Andrew and said "hey Andrew. You should go out with Blake. She's cool and she watches anime." Andrew smiled and said "really?"

I smiled and I knew both of them are great together. "Ask her out bro." I said putting my arm around him. He thought for a while and finally he agrees.

He started walking to Blake and I smiled. I followed and I saw Andrew smile. "B-Blake?" He tapped Blake lightly and she looked back.

"W-would you g-go out with m-me?" He stuttered and Blake blushed and then smiled. "Of course I will." Blake said smiling and suddenly her lips touched his.

Andrew's face turned red and I smiled. "Okay love birds, it's time for the competition." Alex interrupted the moment.

"Good luck my love." Andrew said leaving and Blake said the same too. The students started entering the gym and they sat down.

"Settle down students." Alex said as we all sat down. "Today is the competition. It would be in a virtual forest." He started laughing evily and I liked it.

"An nightmare virtual forest." Everyone freaked out. "You know the rules." He said grinning. "I don't like this one bit." Blake said with a worried face.

Well I'm worried too. I look at Sam and he's sweating nervously even though he knows the stage is the nightmare virtual forest. I thought it's called virtual nightmare forest.

"Now there's three hundred seventy-five people, including me, in this gym and will fight." Alex announced. I tapped Sam's shoulder and he looked at me.

"Are you scared?" I asked him. "Nah. Are you?" He asked back. I nodded no and he just smiled. "You know all the people in the virtual nightmare forest turn against you. It seems like you want to kill you but in their perspective, you look like you want to kill them."

Sam said grinning. "I figured out when we both fought." I said and he nodded yes and said "yeah. Me too." After he said that, I looked back at Alex.

He said things I didn't care about but Sam listened. Blake, well, she is just listening to music."Good luck." Sam said to me smiling. I nodded yes and said the same thing back.

Blake took off her headphones and Andrew went over to Blake. "Good luck guys." I said to both I them. They said the same thing back.

I don't know where's Philip but I know he's somewhere in the front. I took a glance at Alex and shrugged and I noticed that he was about to press the button.

So I quickly turned my attention to Alex and waited for him to press the button. In a few seconds later, he did and everything went from the gym to the virtual nightmare forest.

I was floating the air because I was sitting on the bench. Now there's no bench, I fell on my ass. I kept quiet because there may be people around.

I got up and dusted my ass. Then I grabbed my dual blades. "Good luck guys." I said to myself as I started walking through the forest. I'm glad I am not sick anymore.

I've been walking for ten minutes already and I haven't seen one opponent yet. Then I heard footsteps crunching the snow so I hid behind the tree.

I squinted my eyes and saw an student. I grinned and gripped on my dual blades. "Why isn't anyone here?" He said looking confused.

I dashed and sliced him through my like I usually do to my opponents. He disappeared and I continued my journey. There's blood on my dual blades and hands.

I kept walking and I eventually went inside the forest. Not the pathway where you could be exposed. I took a glance at my right and saw people teaming up on someone and it's against the rules.

I quickly hid behind a tree and watched intently. "Hey, this is against the rules." The one is getting teamed up said. "Who cares, Alex isn't here." One perosn said.

Well there's only three people there. I couldn't handle them going against the rules. I snarled and really gripped on my dual blades.

I was about to attack but they already killed the person being teamed on. One by one, I took them down so quickly, that they all disappeared at once.

More blood everywhere. On my face, boots, jacket, clothes, and especially on my hands and dual blades. I felt myself losing sanity but I'm trying to keep it together.

Blake's Pov
I am walking through the forest and well, I hear footsteps crunch the snow and it appears that that person is running.

I quickly run to the closest tree and hid behind it. I quietly leaned to the right to see who was it and it was Andrew. I opened my eyes widely and hid behind the tree and hoping that he doesn't see or hear me.

"Fuck." I heard him cussed. I took one step and stepped on a twig. It reminded me of movies I used to watch. I quickly hid behind tree and I am freaking out.

"Hmm?" Andrew said and I hear his footsteps coming closer. "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit." I said quietly to myself. "Who's there?" He said calmly.

"I'm not going to repeat myself. Who are you!" He said impatiently. I inhale and exhale and showed myself. "Hayley?" Andrew asked. I nodded yes and looked down.

Then I grabbed my guitar out and put on my headphones. "I broke the barrier Hayley. I'm not going to kill you." Andrew said quietly. "Really? I'm not going to fall for that trick again." I said.

Yeah, again. I remembered Joyce tricking me. "Please Hayley!" Andrew pleaded. I stood still and he stood still. We've been standing here for five minutes.
