Maine's POV

"Few more shots!"

The light inside the room was dazzling and it took a lot of getting used to. I chose to enter this world. The one I never knew I would be part of. This is my secret dream, the one I kept for myself.

"Hands on your chin, sweetie." the photographer commanded. "Good! Three more."

The flashes of the camera don't startle me anymore, I've been doing this for months.

"Chin up." he said and I followed.

Few more poses and then it was done.

"Great! Perfect!" he complimented. "That's why you're my favorite, it's easy to work with you."

"I'm just following your instructions." I replied and gave him a smile.

I've worked with Mark for months, he'd done some of my shoots for magazine covers. He knows my best angles and what part of my face would capture the fans heart. Being a celebrity is hard, all eyes are on you. They give meaning to every single move that you do. I lost my privacy, but I wanted this. I chose this.

"Anong gusto mong kainin?" my personal assistant asks as I enter my dressing room.

I checked the time and it was already three in the afternoon, I wasn't able to have my lunch because of the shoot.

"Anything." I responded. I sat on my chair, exhausted and looked at myself in the mirror.

A lot of things had already changed. There are times that I'm loving it and times that I don't.

Maine Mendoza, fast rising star, 6 months, in a short span of time, I've achieved a lot. Endorsements, Magazine Covers, Guestings and Awards.

I wonder, until when will I be part of this industry? If I would be here for long or will I fall as fast as my rose to stardom. I'm afraid of losing everything, I worked hard for this and I won't allow anyone to bring me down.

I grabbed my bag and took my phone, checking if I have some messages, and there's one that made me smile. He's always checking on me, asking me if I ate, telling me to rest when I'm tired.

Sometimes, I wish that I wasn't a celebrity so we can do what we want and go wherever. But I can't regret being one, if it wasn't for this, what chance is there for me to meet someone like him.

"Meng, eto oh McDo. Kain ka muna bago tayo umalis, may isa ka pang shoot." she reminded.

I ate my late lunch then changed my clothes. I'm not that comfortable wearing high heels and dresses. I prefer pants and shirts.

I rode the van and slept on our way to another studio where I would be doing a shoot for a Magazine.

"Meng gising na, dito na tayo." my assistant called.

I opened my eyes and yawned. Sunday yet I'm still working. Celebrity life, no offs.

I got out of the van and started walking on our way to the studio, when I entered the room all eyes are on us. I greeted each of the staff with a smile. I was about to get inside the dressing room when the other door opened, and there he was, giving me the sweetest smile.

"Kararating mo lang?" he asked and I nodded.

"Mamaya na yan! Ayusan ko muna alaga ko." my assistant interrupted.

He walked closer to me and give me a kiss on the cheek and whispered. "Kanina pa ko excited sa shoot, alam ko kasing kasama ka."

Those words is enough to make me smile. It feels nice having to know that you have a good relationship with the people you work with, especially with my love team.
