A broken spell

All about me

Today I went for a magic show with my children.They enjoyed it but I stood still thinking about my past.The show had ended but was still lost in my world.My daughter,Anna shook me and reminded me to get up.I was confused and wondered what was happening.My small son started crying.I took him on my lap and returned to our house.

I had household work to complete so i started with cooking dinner.I never noticed that the food had been overcooked.Anna came running down with her brother,Avin.She wondered why her mother was so lost today.She finally approached to me and questioned whether everything was right with me.I replied with a smile.

She was not satisfied with my answer.She kept on poking me unless her father,Kevin arrived.By the time I had managed to cook pasta.She narrated all the incidents which had occurred today.Her father asked me about my health.I told him that everything was fine.Kevin left for his flight to New York.I decided to tell my story to my 16 year old daughter.

I went to my children's room.Avin was peacefully sleeping.Anna was busy reading.When she saw me she got scared.I told her to come to my room.She came running.I told her to sit.She told me,"Mother,what is it?Tell me.I am not a baby now!"I told her that this was my past and began with a smile.

"When i was in college,I was very pretty.Many men were behind me.But I was least bothered.One day I was walking on the corridor when a guy crashed with me .I got really angry.He apologized but I didn't listen.This was the starting of my story.The long drawn fight between me and that guy."By all this time my younger daughter,Anigel, had awakened.She looked confused and sleepy.Anna and Anigel went back to their room and I slept.

The next morning Anna was the first one to wake up.She was curious about my story.She wanted to hear more.I told her to wake her siblings up and get them for breakfast.Both of us got busy in our work.As it was a holiday,I had promised to take my children out to an amusement park which had opened recently.Anna and I got ready fast and helped Anigel and Avin to get dressed.We left.

The kids had lot of fun there.Anna and Anigel went on rides like the racing cars,the parachute,the jumping monkeys with many more and the small one along with me went on a baby roller coaster,the baby round and some other.Then we had lunch outside.Anna had a pizza,Anigel had a burger,Avin had sandwich and I had some bread and salad.When we returned home,we were exhausted and tired.But Anna never forgot bout the incomplete story.She came at night to hear it.
