Chronicles: School pair (boy x boy)

Chapter 6

Nash POV

Finally school ended and I can go home to get ready for the weekend. I'm so excidet about the weekend 'cause I'm going with Andrea and her mom to their cottage at the lake. I was there like ten years ago for the last time. What I can remember was, the cottage was on the bank of the lake and had jetty where you can jump into the water or just sitting there and have luch. That was our usual spot where we usualy had lunch if weather was great. The cottage was a quite small but big enough for three or four people. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining-room, living room, toilet, bathroom. Upstairs there are two small bedrooms and one big bedroom. In the small bedrooms there is one bed, table and wardrobe. And in the big bedroom there is the double bed and also table and wardrobe.

,,Honey, have I prepare some food for you for the cottage?" My mom asked from the downstairs, when I was packing my clothes and things for the weekend.

,,No I think it's fine thanks mom." I shouted back. But it's not that bad idea, but I have better, but I have to call to Andrea and talk about it with her. I need her help for this.

Call with Andrea

N: Hi.

A: Huh, hi Nash, what do you want?

N: I need favour from you. I have a plan how make your mom happier at the cottage.

A: Go on.

N: The plan is simple, we just need...

Well, everything is settled so I can pack rest of the thing. Andrea agreed with my plan and she said she will help as much as she can. I'm wondering if her mom will like it. I lay down on the bed and looked on the ceiling I was thinking about what we will do there the whole weekend.

*beep beep*

The sound of my phone slapped me off of my thougts. I just roled my eyes and looked at the phone. Andrea was texting.

Conversation

A: Hey Nash, if you want to realize your plan, we have to meet in the cottage. Come ASAP.

N: Be there in a minute.

I quickly stood up from the bed and ran downstairs, said mom what's going on and that I need to leave for few hours. She just nodded 'cause she was watching some Tv show. I ran out of my house, took bike and rode straight to the cottage.

When I came, Andrea was already sitting on staircase with gasolene canister and waiting for me.

,,Finally, what take you so long? I need pour this into the generator and I can't do it by myself." She asked quite upset. Jeez I have got it farther than she.

,,Sorry lady, but I'm not living five steps from this cottage." I said with ironic tone.

,,Yeah I forgot. Sorry I'm just a little pissed off of school." She said and handed me canister.

,,Why? What happend?" I asked her with confused look.

,,I don't want to talk about it now. Maybe later. Let's go inside prepare things for tomorrow."

,,Yeah, ok." I said and we walk in to the house. I walked to the cellar and pour whole canister into the generator. Then shouted at Andrea to turn the lights on. When Andrea turned lights on, I saw the tier of dust all around after I came back up from the cellar.

,,Uhm, we have lot of things to do before tomorrow. We have hurry up, 'cause I said to mom that I will be at home before midnight. And now is 10 pm."

,,Okay, I haven't told my mom when I'll come so I can stay a little longer. Now, where you have duster?" I asked while sliding finger through dust tier on furniture.

,,I think it's in the small cabinet upstairs. Take a look and I will take down blankets from furniture. I always said mom to put blankets over the all furniture, but she was always like 'Nooo it will be fine'. Yes, the tun of dust everywhere is totally fine." She said rising voice on the end of the sentence.

,,Woahoo, calm down girl," I laughed a little ,,you don't have to be angry, it will be a great weekend so enjoy it." With last words I wrapped my hand around her shoulders. What happend to her? She was never like that, even if she had problems at home. It must be serious.

,,Nash, can you let me go," she said with laugh and with that slapped me out of thoughts ,, I'd like to cleane it up before tomorrow."

,,Yeah of course," I let her 'cause I didn't relize I still had wrapped arm around her shoulders. I ran upstairs for the duster to clean up all of the dust everywhere. When I came downstairs, Andrea already pull down all of the blankets and gave them on the balcony. I wiped away all dust and open the windows to make a draft. After few minutes was fresh air in the whole cottage and dust nowhere. Was nice to smell fresh air all around. We also cleaned up all bedrooms, bathroom and other rooms and prepared everything for tomorrow. I hope everything will be good.

,,I think we have everything done." I said as I sat down on couch.

,,Yeah I think too. Oh shit, it's already half past eleven, I have to go."

,,Yeah I'll go too. See you tomorrow at yours?"

,,Yes sure, be there before lunch."

,,Okay, bye." Said as I waved at her when she was leaving the house. I turn off light everywhere and lock everything, then ride a bike to home.
