Harry POV

Louis has been acting strange for the past few days. He looks pale, is always tired, and he doesn't eat that much. I'm getting really worried about him. Is he worried about something? Is it Twitter hate?

"Haz?" Louis's voice pulled me out of my bubble of thoughts.

"Babe? Is everything alright?" I asked, noticing his pale complexion.

Suddenly, he embraced me into a hug. A smile etched its way onto my face, but as soon as I felt the sleeve of my shirt get wet, I pulled back immediately.

"Lou? What's wrong?" My eyebrows creased together with worry.

"I-I don't feel s-so good." He whimpered, clutching the edge of my sleeve with his tiny hands.

"What doesn't feel good?"

Louis just whimpered.

"Lou?" I said, softly. "I can't help you if you don't tell me what the problem is. I'll point at an area and you nod if it hurts alright?"

Louis nodded.

I pointed at his head. Nod.
I pointed at his throat. Nod.
I pointed at his stomach. Shake.

"Okay, so it's head and throat?"

Louis nodded.

"Here, open up for me will ya?"

Louis opened his mouth. Or shall I say, he attempted to.

He scrunched his eyebrows together, wincing in pain. My heart ached for him.

Louis's throat was red. Really really really really red. And there were also white spots in them.

"Lou? Babe? I'm taking you to the doctor." 

His eyes widened. I knew he was scared of hospitals but I didn't want him to have a panic attack or anything while he was there, I just wanted him to get better.

My eyes locked with his. 

Finally, he sighed, and nodded.

Louis POV

I had woken up with a pretty sore throat, it felt like there were needles in them, scratching my throat every time I opened my mouth, swallowed, or even said something.

Harry and I were on our way to the doctor. 

I had never been a big fan of clinics, but honestly, I would rather go to one that feel like this.

I leaned my forehead against the window. It felt cold against my feverish skin.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Harry look at me, worry shown clear in his eyes.

"Lou? You alright babe?"

I had always loved it when he called me that. 

I felt a cold hand placed on my burning forehead. 

I sighed in pleasure at the coolness of the touch. 

Just as I was about to ask Harry if he could leave his hand there, his phone rang. Harry turned it to speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hey mate! It's Liam."

"Hey Li!"

"Well, Niall and I were wondering if you and Lou would like to join us? We're going to the amusement park!" I could hear Niall cheering in the background.

"We'd love to. It's just that Lou isn't feeling the best now, I'm taking him to the doctor right now."

"Wait, what? Lou's sick?"

"Yeah, he told me this morning."

"What do you mean he told you?"

"Yes Li, he actually told me. Anyways, we're here now so we'll call you back once we know what he has, k?"

"Bye! Feel better Louis!"

Harry POV

After the phone call with Liam, I could tell that Louis was slightly happier than this morning. We walked into the clinic, with me supporting him. 

"Louis Tomlinson?" A doctor called out.

"Here." I raised Louis's hand and walked into the room with him.

"Hi, I'm Doctor Joni. What's not feeling good?"

Louis pointed at his throat and his head.

"Lost your voice?"

Lou nodded.

"Can you open your mouth for me?"

Louis opened his mouth as wide as he possibly could, which wasn't much.

"It seems like we have a case of strep throat on our hands. I'm going to take a strep test just to make sure."

Doctor Joni took Louis to a separate room and once they came back, she nodded.

"Yep. That's what it is. Strep. Here's a prescription for you below and hope you feel better Louis!"

"Thanks!"

On our way home, we picked up Louis's medicine. 

Louis was sick for 5 more days, and after that, I was the one stuck with the sore throat and pounding headache.
