kate and Charlie wake up tangled in eachother from the night before. kate gets out of bed still naked and goes to the kitchen. Charlie's phone goes off. its someone called Gabby. charlee answers the phone. "hello?" she answers. "have you done it yet?" a voice asks. "no Gabby i havent... not yet anyway" charlee replies. not realising kates standing outside the bedroom door. "Gabby?? oh shit she knows Gabby Evans! what do i do? shes a dealer im not getting back on that stuff ever again , right ive just got to act normal and watch out" Kate says to herself, she walks back in to the bedroom with two cups of tea, "good morning" she says with a smile on her face. she passes Charlie the mug of tea. "ah thanks" Charlie says. they both sit on the bed. curiosity gets the better of Kate, she has to ask, "Charlie can I ask you something?". Charlie looks confused. "Erm yes I suppose". "who is Gabby?" Kate asks. Charlie starts to look angry "you've been listening to my phone call!!? how fucking dare you! you have no right! we only met last night and already think you can get in to my stuff!!? Gabby's a friend of mine, she wanted me to find you." Kate looks shocked "why does she want to find me? im trying to get clean. I am clean. I'm not going back". Charlie puts her head in her hands and takes a deep breath and replies calmly "well you better leave the country then. she will find you, she wants to kill you. if you stay here she will find you" Kate starts to pace the bedroom with her hands on her head. "what do I do?" she asks. Charlie stops Kate and puts her hands on her hips. "you will be fine. lets go and get some breakfast just have a chill day. just me and you? Netflix and chill?" they laugh. Kate smiles. she kisses Charlie. Charlie kisses her back.
They get Mel's café and sit at the window seat. They both get a large diet coke with a pink straw. "so, im sorry about this morning for worrying you. I know we only met last night but I think your a smashing girl. do you want to maybe go on another date this week?" Charlie asks. Kate smiles and replies "id love to. but you have to promise me something?" Charlie looks curious and replies "what would that be then?" "your not going to get me tied up with Gabby" Kate replies. Charlie holds Kate's hands on the table and replies "of course im not. look I really like you. your a smashing, sexy, beautiful girl. and if I was going to do that... well I wouldn't because im not her little minion going out and getting someone tied up in someone that isn't a nice person anyway. I cant stand gabby and I need to get away from her. I've been clean from heroine for nearly four months." Kate smiles. "well done I know its hard. and im sorry for being so couscous but im not going back to her. what is it she wanted you to do to me?" she asks. Charlie looks ashamed and replies "she wanted me to kidnap you. but obviously in not going to, I wouldn't do that to anyone"
They finish their drinks and have a long chat then they go back to Kate's.
They cuddle on the sofa watching films on Netflix.
then theirs a knock at the door. Charlie jumps up. "don't answer it. its gabby." she says.
Kate gets up looking worried.
she goes to the door
