"There are only the pursued, the pursuing, the busy, and the tired."
This means more than a guy actually remembering and anniversary in any cartoon.
I have actually never read this book or even seen the movie, but when my friend YoungbloodWhovian commented and told me about the quote, I'm one of those people that nonstop researches everything about it.
This quote moves me. Literally.....
When I read this, I.. Well... Ummm...
Might have fallen out of bed. XDMan..... This is a great quote.
I hadn't read the book so don't be offended by what I think this means.Ok let's do this.....
The pursued: the people who have made it to the top and pretty much everyone wants to take them down. Even if their intentions are good, people will tear them down in almost every opportunity they get.
The pursuing: these are the people that have the goal to make it to the top. They work day and night to make sure they can be successful. These people may be good or more like evil Halloween people that give out toothbrushes.
The busy: these people are so busy trying to be successful that they miss out on life. They have money but they aren't happy. It's kind of like the saying money doesn't buy you happiness.
The tired: I have to perspectives of this. The people that are rich but miserable, so they are almost tired of making money, and the poor that have worked so hard but not getting anywhere in life so they are depressed.
In a way, a person can go through all of these things in there life, but probably not at the same time. If I offended you in anyway (you think I'm stupid because I haven't read the book and my stuff makes no sense) go to the people that give toothbrushes out on Halloween and go live a happy life!!!!
(I need to work on my insults lol)Shoutout to YoungbloodWhovian for recommending this quote and live long and prosper!
