The family piled into the car and drove off to a pizzeria, that was less than a mile away. "Mommy what are we going to eat." Lizzie's voice ringed out of the silence.
"Oh sweetie, we're going to eat pizza." Erica looked back and smile and saw Lisa looking down. "Lisa are you ok." She said putting a hand on Lisa's knee.
Lisa thought to her self "pizza, what is that? is it any good?"Lisa had soon stop talking to her self and responded to the worried Erica. Lisa looked up and spoke." Uh yes I'm fine, it's just I have never had pizza before." She lowered her head down feeling the family staring at her. She thought to her self "I think if they stare any longer there going to burn a hole righty through me, god why dose this happen all the time to me." She looked up embarrassed.
Rick spoke, "what you never had pizza before!" He took a breath thinking he hurt her feelings. "But it's always good trying new things." Lisa gave him a small yet unseen. "You'll like it I can confirm that." He gave a slight chuckle. Thinking to himself "god that was to cheesy." Giving himself a mental face palm.
They had finally arrived to the pizzeria. John was the first one out he went to grab Lizzie. "Alright come here big girl." With Lizzie giggling he picked her up and shut the door. Lisa climbed out of Ricks door and shut once she was out.
They all walked in the door looking like a family then John spoke up. "Alright since Lisa hasn't had pizza before she gets choose what type of pizza we are going to eat." John said placing Lizzie on the floor and placing his hand on Lisa's shoulder. "So what shall it be." The whole family now focusing on Lisa.
Lisa thought for a moment and looked up. "Um how about sausage?" She said quietly.
John had nodded. "Good choice." He greeted her with a smile. Once they had ordered they sat down, finally there pizza was they had received it before anyone started stuffing their face John said. "Lisa you take the first piece." He said handing Lisa a slice.
Lisa took a bite her face lit up as she devoured her slice soon enough the whole family was enjoying the pizza. They had ate until they were full and left the pizzeria.
"Lisa we don't got a room for you until we find the key to the attic." Erica had stated. "So you can sleep on the couch if that is ok with you." Erica said looking back at the kids taking glance at Lizzie who was sound asleep.
Lisa nodded in agreement with. "That's ok with me." Lisa said. Erica nodded and they all sat in silence for the rest of the way back to the house.
John had gotten and quietly picked up Lizzie and carried her to her room. Erica had left to with John leaving Lisa and Rick alone, they walked in silently Rick had asked a question but Lisa didn't seem to hear him. Lisa was looking up towards the attic window. "Um Lisa?" Rick said moving his hand in front of her face.
Finally catching her attention. "What oh sorry." She said bringing her attention to him with a slight smile.
He glanced away. "You ok?" He thought to himself "do I really like someone I just met." He pushed it off of his mind for the time being.
"Oh yeah I'm fine." Lisa said and they both walked into the house in silence.
