Adeline nervously played with her fingers as minutes slowly passed by.Suddenly someone knocked on her doors as she happily jumped up and opened them.There stood tall guy in simple blue-white uniform with big box in his arms.Adeline smiled brightly taking box in her arms and thanking young male.She went back in,opened pretty golden decorative paper and looked in box.She pulled out beautiful long strapless purple dress.
Adeline:Its so pretty.Wow.
She said swaying and dancing around when she stood in front of big mirror, smiling imaging big white hall and all fancy dresses people chatting and laughing.She looked at clock and gasped.It was 6pm already and in 8pm Winter ball starts.Adeline went in bathroom,washed herself and her hair before running back in her room.She put on her dress and with it she matched beautiful silver high heels.She curled her long white hair and put little golden hair ornament that matched her small heart shaped necklace.Looking at her reflection in mirror she nodded satisfied.It was 7:50 when Zero knocked on Adeline's doors,he was nervous.Slightly pulling up his tie he looked at person that opened doors.Deep blush formed on his pale cheeks as Adeline walked out smiling.She is...........beautiful he thought as he stared at her flawless form.Adeline blinked before moving to Zero's red face.She touched his burning face,checking if he had high temperature.He just pushed her slightly away and apologized for being so awkward.He offered her hand like real gentlemen which she gladly accepted.Two of them went in hall just to be welcomed by cheerful headmaster.
Headmaster:My god look at them.You are growing so fast Zero,papa is so proud.
He said petting Zero's hair as he removed headmaster's hand and said 'tch' blush appeared on his cheeks.Adeline laughed as Zero grabbed her hand and dragged her in,not noticing many angry stares he was getting from male population.Both night and day class students.Adeline saw Yuki and naturally run toward her sister as Zero fallowed closely behind.Two girls hugged
and chatting started.Zero easily got bored so he offered to bring you drinks.
Adeline:You look so pretty Yuki-chan?Is there someone special you want to impress?
Yuki immediately blushed and start playing with her fingers as Adeline smirked.
Yuki:Actually this dress is a gift from Kaname-sama,so i wore it because it was his gift.
As Yuki said this Adeline felt her heart shatter.For some reason this gifts and acts from Kaname to Yuki,bothered Adeline.Forcing one big smile,Adeline apologized to Yuki and left just to be stopped by Aido.he looked at those sad eyes and pulled her on dance floor with big protests from Adeline's side.
Adeline:Mou,Hana-chan,let me go.I'm not in mood for dancing.
Hana blushed at Adeline's cute pouting and protesting he twirl her around,smirking.
Hana:Well my dear princess.I'm sorry but I'm not in mood for seeing that face from you,so i have big duty to find smile that you lost on your way here.
This made you laugh a bit,Hana could always bring smile on your face.You two danced,laughed when it was time to switch partners.Hana was now dancing with some random girl while you were in strong hands of Kain Akatsuki.He smiled as he twirl you around.
Adeline:You seem happy tonight kain?Is it because of Ruka?
You teased as he smirked before shaking his head.
Kain:Its because I'm dancing with most beautiful woman on world.
Adeline blushed at his comment and buried her face in his chest,as male smiled.
Kain:I need to tell you something.......
He was cut off by switch of partners,he was dancing with Rima while you finished in Shiki's arms.His mahogany eyes staring at Adeline's,as his body moved perfectly not missing one step.It was silence between two of you,a really comfortable silence.She put her head on his shoulder as he inhaled her scent of mixed lavender and honey aroma.Just when he opened mouth to say something you were in other man's arms.Precisely in Ichijo's arms who blushed deeply.
Ichijo:*stuttering*I................i.......um.....i....
He didn't know what to say as you giggled at his shyness.Moving in the beat of music you two stared in each others eyes as distance between your faces become smaller and smaller,when partners switched again.Adeline groaned tired from all switching when she looked at beautiful wine eyes.Her eyes widened as blush formed on her cheeks.It was Kaname,her biological brother.He smiled at her cuteness,he always loved how she would move her head in other side trying to hide her embarrassment,how she blushes at small pick up lines and other things.He loved every side of Adeline,absolutely every.
Kaname:You look beautiful tonight.
He said gently whispering in her small ear as she looked away.
Adeline:Thank you.Why aren't you with Yuki?I thought you love her?
Kaname:*sigh*You know about dress.......well i love her.....................
On that Adeline's heart sunk she looked in his eyes as he continued to talk.
Kaname:But just as a sister.....................nothing more..........my heart always belonged to you and only you my angel.
He said as Adeline felt big relief .Suddenly someone yelled running in ball room as blood poured out of her stomach.Adeline covered her mouth as she stared at lifeless body of a female student.Kaname hugged her tightly as headmaster checked on girl.He shook his head in sign that girl is dead.Soon panic start rising as students cried,yelled and run out of room.BIG MISTAKE!!!
All of them that run out were killed by monsters as others shut it scared from everything.Night class along with hunters run out to deal with Level E's as Yuki and Adeline stood there and helped injured students.Suddenly someone grabbed Adeline from behind and put her to sleep before leaving,Yuki noticed her absence and run to headmaster.
Yuki:FATHER ADELINE IS NOT HERE.SHE DISAPPEARED!!!
She yelled as Kaien's eyes widened.Shit he thought slicing more mad vampires as Yuki fought with her artemis.
