"Ebony I'm coming back at 6 don't go to no boys house before you have a child you can't raise" my mom said slamming the door behind her for dramatic effect, I guess. I have nothing to do in this roach infested apartment except to sleep and eat, like what does she expect me to do. It's not like I have a laptop or some shit. Just a crappy iPhone that I pickpocketted from some guy at a fair last week. Mia has been calling me all day, and I have been ignoring her because all I want to do is sleep. She's probably gonna want me to hit the mall with her since I promised her I would yesterday. I layed on my bed for a few more minutes before getting up and going into the kitchen. I opened up the fridge to find half full bottles of "Ciroc" and left over bread. "Damn, Lynn can't do nothin right" I mumbled slamming the fridge shut. Great, nothing to eat. "Mia, it's Ebony, when you get this call, meet me at the supermarket across from your house" I said leaving a message on Mia's cell phone.

15 minutes later I was dressed in grey sweatpants, a pink crop top, and my grey and pink Nike Turf 2's that I got a year ago when my mom still had some sense. "Girl what was so urgent?" Mia asked coming out from her apartment building with her hair wrapped up. "I need some food" I said walking into the supermarket. I only have 30 bucks that I found last week lying around, so I have to spend it wisely. "You spent Cha money for no damn reason" Mia said shaking her head. I mean I only steal clothes, not food. She should know me better than that. "Whatever Mia, look call me tomorrow, I have a huge head ache" I said walking back home. Sometimes she takes this shoplifting crap to far.
