Leaving (chapter 2)

I woke up, and at first I didn't know where I was and it took a couple of seconds to sink in. I got up from the mattress and grabbed my phone from Simons bedside table

'1:30pm'
"Shit! Omg I can't believe I slept in this late"
I looked in Simons bed and he wasn't there.

I want down stairs to use the bathroom and sort myself out. I didn't want the boys to see me looking like a mess.

...

"Hi Steph" said josh smiling as he pulled the bread from the toaster
"Hey, mind making me some?"
"Sure, have you seen Simon? I saw him earlier and he had the biggest hangover"
"Oh really? I didn't think he was that drunk"

I started to think that what he said last night was just because he was drunk, so I tried to forget about it. Like it never happened.

Tobi came in and Simon followed behind him

"Hello" I said smiling at them both
Simon just looked down and Tobi came over for a hug. I loved it when he done that.
"I'm thinking of heading back home once I've eaten"
"Okay, I will drive you back?" Tobi said
"No, it's fine honestly I can see you don't feel too good, I will call a taxi"

Josh passed some toast. I smiled at him as a thank you and he went upstairs with Tobi to record some stuff.
Just leaving me and Simon.
"How are you?" He asked me
I felt his eyes on me which made me not want to turn around.
"I'm fine, Yourself?"
"Ehh I feel got the worst headache, I don't really remember much from last night really"

Great. I decided just to let go of what he said last night. I mean it clearly didn't mean anything.

"Here" I chucked him some painkillers towards him "these should help"
"Thanks, Steph" he smiled

Damn that smile.

...

"Thank you for letting me stay guys!" I shouted at the boys, who were recording gta
Tobi opened the door for me. I smiled at him.
"And thanks for letting me sleep in your room Simon" I laughed
I walked down the path towards the taxi.
Before I got in I looked back and waved at Tobi before he shut the door.
As he was waving at me I caught a glimpse of Simon looking out his window.
I didn't look up because I didn't want to seem like a creep, if he saw me staring i was afraid I wouldn't be able to look away.

On the way home I couldn't help but think about how much of a good time I had staying at the sidemen house.
