OO2

Robin twisted the rusty bronze doorknob and hears the sound of an old creaking door. She scanned the room, a police woman wearing blue uniform talking to a worried looking Professor Elm. She rushed to them.

On her way to the lab, she did receive a phone call from him but she didn’t know why, she knows that it probably has something to do with this.  “What happened?” Robin asked and the woman turned and rushed over to me.

“Sorry, but we are in the middle of an investigation.” She looked at the little guy sitting on Robin’s shoulder, “Where did you get that Pokémon?!” She went all up in Robin’s face. “Did you steal it?”

She just blankly stared at her. She didn’t know what was happening. She scanned the room again for clues to what was happening. The machine from where Professor kept the Pokémon and where she got Kaji caught her attention. It was missing a Pokeball.

“She didn’t steal anything!” She heard a voice call from behind. She checked to see who it was.

“Ethan!” She smiled. She’s known Ethan since they were little; she doesn’t see him as her best friend but as her big brother. He’s always been protective, sometimes way too protective.

“Then who did?” questioned the women in uniform.

“I did see a boy with red hair, earlier.” He replied.

When he said those words, Robin recalled seeing that same boy and bumping into him on her way back. She didn’t like him; he was rude and just by looking at him you can tell he’s as cold as ice.

She just stood there listening to the conversation between the two of them. “I’m sorry but if I may.” Robin said and stood in front of Ethan. “I think I may have bumped into him earlier.”

Those words that came out of Robin’s mouth caught that woman’s attention. She grabbed her notepad. Click went the sound of her pen. She was seemed very curious but it was her job.

“What was the young man’s name?” She questioned.

Robin tried looking back at the moment she picked up, his trainer card.

“His name was Silver.”

“Thank you.” She turned and looked back the Professor. “We’ll keep in touch.” She began to walk out of the building.

“Sorry for that Robin,” he apologized. He was a very kind and sincere man, that’s one reason why Robin admires him.

“Don’t worry Professor; there was a break in so there’s nothing to be sorry about.” She smiled trying to cheer him up. “Oh I almost forgot.” She reminded that she got something from Mr. Pokémon. She handed him a mysterious egg. “Mr. Pokémon wanted me to give this to you.”

“Thank you, Robin.” He looked to side and saw the Pokémon he gave to her. “I can see he’s growing on you,” he said. “You two will make a wonderful duo.”

“Thank you Professor!” She was beaming with joy, just that one sentence motivated her.

“See you Professor.” She ran to the door. She looked back at him. “Johto is waiting for me.” She ran off to her house, she has to tell her mother first. She hopes that she won’t worry too much.

“See you, Mom and thanks for the bag!” She waved goodbye and ran out the house, with her new bag over her shoulder. That went better than she thought; her mom told her she’ll be all alone during her journey, not including her Pokémon but she’s likes having people around her. She walked into Route 29; she didn’t think it was such a bad thing. She thought of it as training for her and Kaji, though the Pokémon in this area aren’t very challenging.

“Robin!” Someone called. It was just Ethan.

“Hey.” She said, “What’s up?” She wanted to know why he was here.

He sent out his cute Marill and grabbed a Pokeball from his bag. “I’m showing how a real trainer catches a Pokeball,” He smirked and walked into the grass, where wild Pokémon can come out and attack him. You can hear the thick grass rattling. “Are you ready, Marill?” The blue small Pokémon nodded. Out of nowhere, a purple rat jumped out of the grass. It was like it was soaring though the air. It landed on its four feet. “Use tackle.” It tackled its opponent to the ground. The rat Pokémon, Rattata responded by whipping its tail which didn’t do much but lower Marill’s defense. He threw his Pokeball at the Pokemon. Trapping it but it isn’t captured quite yet.

It leaned to the left, then the right. They watched hesitantly to see what the result will be. It went back to the left.

Click.

He walked up to the Pokeball. He turned with to Robin with a devilish grin. “Let’s see you do better!” He showed off his captured Pokémon.

“Honey, you know I always win.” She smirked back.
