As soon as I realized what time it was, I jumped out of bed and ran to my closet to find an outfit to wear. After trying on a few things, I finally decided on some ripped jeans, a maroon crop top, and a pair of black converse. Then, I ran to my desk and did my hair & makeup, just a casual look. I had finished getting ready earlier than I thought and I still had 10 minutes until corey would pick me up, so I decided to read a little more. 10 minutes went by and I heard a knock on the door. I got up, opened the door, and he was standing on the porch with a little smirk on his face and said "so I heard you like carnivals?"
I smiled and yelled goodbye to my mom as I walked out the door and to his car. When we got to the carnival, it was 5:00. We both didn't really want to go on any rides so we decided to just play games and hang out. Corey played one game that was basketball themed, and he kept getting points until finally he won a prize, a giant teddy bear. As soon as he claimed his prize, he looked at me and said "it's all yours" and pointed to the teddy bear. I don't know why, but for some reason that teddy bear meant so much to me, even if it was just cheap carnival quality. It just made me so happy. At about 7:00, we started getting tired so we decided to sit down and just talk. When we couldn't think of anything else to talk about, we just looked at each other with smiles on our faces. I got so lost in his eyes and the next thing I knew, we were kissing, and it was like I was in a dream. my first kiss.
