Episode 1: A New Beginning

   Rhys saw a flash of light as he peeked into the chest. Fiona gasped and before Rhys could react, he felt the ground come out from underneath him. His head started spinning. He looked around and could see nothing but white dot zipping by at speed he assumed was fast as light itself. He began yelling out and he heard Fiona's scream, but he couldn't see her.
     "What's happening?" Rhys shouted.
   "I don't know. Did you do something?" Fiona asked.
    "I did exactly what you did." Rhys said. Then another light flashed and Rhys closed his eyes as he hit something hard.

   Rhys thought he was dead, but he suddenly felt a hard kick on his leg.
    "Hey, are you dead?" Fiona asked.
    "No I was, ergh." Rhys tried to get up, but he felt like something might had broke."
   "Oh come on." Fiona said. She pulled him up to a sitting position. Rhys took a look around and he saw something tall. Actually there were a lot of tall grey buildings in the far distance. Their immediate surroundings were trees and grass and a large body of water separated them from the structures.
    "Where are we?" Rhys asked.
    "More importantly, how do we get back to Sasha and Vaughn and the others?" Fiona asked.
    "Yeah I'm working on that." Rhys said. "It would be nice to know where we are though."
    "Lucky for us you got that new eye implanted." Fiona said. "Without any Handsome Jack."
    Rhys opened his mouth to say something, but then heard a scream from above. He and Fiona looked up and two people were falling. They hit the ground hard. It was Sasha and Vaughatn. Rhys and Fiona went to help up Sasha before Fiona gave him a disgusted look. Both Sasha and Vaughn got up on their own anyway.
    "Well that was partly exciting and partly freaky." Vaughn said.
    "Where are we?" Sasha asked.
   "We're still trying to figure that out." Fiona said.
    "How did you guys get through?" Rhys asked.
    "Well we all started looking for you two then we walked towards the vault and it began to close up." Vaughn said. "We ran as fast as we could, but we didn't think we'd make it."
    "Then Loader Bot pushed Vaughn and I in at the last minute. Then we saw the chest and we looked into it and some light flashed and now here we are."
    "Wow. So then is the vault a teleporter?" Fiona asked.
     "Well judging by the fact we are in a new place and it is called 'The Vault of The Traveler', yes. Either that or we're in some alternate universe of Pandora." Rhys said.
    "There's something really weird about this place, but I kinda like it." Vaughn said as he observed a tree.
     "Any luck with that eye, Rhys?" Fiona asked.
    "Give me a minute." Rhys began using his Echo eye, but when he scanned the city it showed up as, New York City: The Largest City on Earth.
    "Well?" Sasha asked.
   "We're not on Pandora anymore." Rhys said. "We're on a planet called Earth."
    "Never heard of it." Fiona said.
    "That city is called New York City. It's the largest." Rhys pointed at it.
    "Well how do we get there?" Vaughn asked.
    "We could swim if we have to." Sasha said.
    "What? No way." Rhys said.
    "Afraid of water?" Sasha teased.
   "No, it's what's in that water I'm afraid of." Rhys said.
    "We don't have to swim. Look." Fiona pointed to the right of the city. "That looks like a bridge. We can walk it."
    "Sounds good to me." Vaughn said.
   And so the four of them began walking.

   They kept to the coastline to make sure they could see where they were going. Fiona couldn't believe this. The vault led them away from Pandora. They were finally away from that place and by the look on Sasha's expression, she was thinking the same thing.
    "Fi, can you believe this? We're off of Pandora. I mean, it looks really cool and you know we always wanted to leave that place. Maybe this could be what we need."
    "You're right sis, but we don't know anything about this place yet. For all we know it could be in worse shape than Pandora." Fiona said.
    "Yeah, I just hope we can be in a better place and they're here too. Maybe they can get a job with some people who doesn't want to screw up the world." Sasha said.
    "Sasha, what do you and Rhys have going on exactly?" Fiona asked.
   "Look I know it sounds crazy. Believe me, I never would had guessed it, but I do like him. It's way too obvious he likes me. I don't know. We'll see if he can still put up with me." Sasha said.
    "Well, August still wanted to put up with you after our scheme. I guess it's not that hard." Fiona said.
    "You're funny." Sasha said.
