After class I head rush to over to Bolton's. I can't wait to sink my teeth into the Mexican bowl.
When I get there I see Bolton sitting down with a bag. Not the brown paper bag the Mexican grill puts the food in , but I notice a white plastic one with orange zig zag lines that underneath spell what-a-burger.
That bastard, he didn't get my food.
"Bolton where's my food?"
"Oh during class Alex came in and told me to cancel chipotle, and that he was going to take you"
"What do you mean he's taking me?"
"He said something about making it up for this morning."
That bitch. The last thing I wanted was to be with him now I have to go with him to get my own food. I think on calling Nicole but I had already let her know I wasn't going to go with her to Wing Stop.
That's when Alex walks in.
"So your taking me?"
"Yes sir, I felt bad about this morning I had to make it up."
"You didn't have to do anything."
"Well I want to, you ready?"
I nod and grab my book bag that contains my wallet inside and we head outside. When we reach the parking lot he makes a phone call and that's when some one pulls up in Mercedes-Gwagon and gets off handing him the car keys.
He opens the passenger door showing his gentlemen skills but once again that's something a straight guy doesn't do to another male. When we get on this one song starts playing. It was such an inappropriate song. It was so descriptive I could picture everything the lyrics were saying. I guess he noticed because he says.
"It's called Often by the Weekend."
I know that guy. He made a song with Ariana called love me harder, I liked his voice it was soft but Ari did most of the singing.
"Baby I can make that pussy rain"
Alexander started mouthing the lyrics.
"Oh god no."
He starts laughing and turns down the music.
"So where's there a chipotle around here?"
"Are you serious you don't know where your going?"
"I don't"
I got frustrated with him and put the address on my phone because I suck at giving directions.
15 minutes later we pull up to the Mexican Restaurant, and we head inside.
The smell of the steak quickly hits my nostrils like a bomb. There was like 6 people in front of us, so after I order my food Alex tells me to go take a seat.
"But I still gotta pay."
"No it's on me, don't worry about it."
"No way your paying for my food."
"C'mon let me pay for your food."
I wanted to keep saying no but then I remembered I only have a ten in my wallet and if I spend it I'll be left with a dollar and that's all I'll have until I get my check on Saturday, it's Tuesday.
He raises his eyebrows at me signaling me to go take a seat.
"Fine but just this one time."
I head over to the table and take a seat. When I can see him get closer to the cash register and when he does someone bangs on the window from the outside.
It's paparazzi their signaling Alex to look in their direction. He just grabs the food and walks towards me when he sits he apologizes for them because they head over to the window that's next to our table and start taking pictures.
Alex starts talking to me and tries to ignore that there's like seven people in the restaurant including the workers taking pictures. And that there was four tall men outside holding a camera that's aimed to us. The only thing that separated us from the paparazzi was the window.
I start poking my food roughly in annoyance of what's going on in our surroundings.
"I can't eat like this."
I say frustrated.
Alexander quickly looks up at me and starts inspecting everyone else.
"I'm really sorry, we should have taken it out."
He gets up and closes his bowl with the aluminum top and I do the same. When we walk out paparazzi was about 4 feet away from us yelling.
"Alexander over here!" "Is this your favorite food?"
"How do you like Lakewood?"
I walk as fast as I can to the car because I'm not great at taking pictures even if the pictures are of someone else I don't know how I feel about being in the background.
When we get in the car Alex hurries to put the key in the ignition.
"I'm very sorry."
"It's ok, I was kind of expecting this."
I wasn't I completely forgot Alex was a celebrity.
"Really?"
"Yeah, your this big celebrity and it's not a shocker if you have people that want to take pictures of you and come up to ask for your autograph."
He looks at me for a while and it starts to scare me because we're on the freeway.
"You know so far today your the only person that's talked to me, and not ask for a picture."
I didn't know how to respond to his remark .
"Why haven't you asked?"
Now I have to respond to the question.
"What for a picture?"
"Yeah"
"Well I'm not great with movies, so I don't really know what movies you have been on."
"What are you the type of person that's not into movies"
He pronounces sarcastically
"Exactly, the only movie I have seen all the way through and enjoyed is the Great Gatsby."
"Why?"
"I don't know, I just like how Gatsby did all he could just to have Daisy."
I gaze at him for a while dozing off into the beautiful love life Gatsby experienced, and wondering if that would ever happen to me. If I would soon meet someone that would do anything in the world just to make me happy.
