I watched the door as two more customers came in I forced a smile on my face. And went back to reading till they came up to the checkout line. I looked up curiously at the ginger haired male and locked my e/c eyes with his blue ones.

"Do I know you from somewhere? I just got back to Ninjago not to long ago"

He smiled at me and it hit like a ton of bricks.

"No I do-"

"Wait...JAY?!"

I covered my mouth quickly realizing I sounded like a weird stalker. He sighed.

"Great another fan what do you want me to sign?"

I looked at him curiously and smirked slightly.

"Diffenitly not my pillow you'd probably kiss it"

He looked at me shocked and his friend started laughing loudly and fell on his back holding his sides. Jay blushed brightly.

"How did you find out about that? That's not public."

I pointed to my name tag and smiled, he face palmed after reading my name.

"Y/n that was not cool"

I giggled.

"Yes it was. Your friends laughing pretty hard at it"

He growled slightly and looked to his friend.

"Cole! Stop laughing!"

"No! I can't dude you got trolled!"

I giggled at the laughing boy and he finally seemed to notice me standing there.

"Anyway Jay it was nice seeing you again but I still need the money for the groceries and cake you guys bought"

He smiled and handed me the money, our hands touched for a second a shock of pleasure went through me. We both quickly pulled away as I got his change and handed it to him getting the same shock. We both smiled at eachother as our hands stayed connected a little longer this time. He quickly got out a pen and wrote something on my hand.

"We should hang out again it would be nice to see someone that could keep up with my blabbering"

He smiled brighter and his friend was shocked.

"Wait...you can keep up with him?! And you two know each other?"

"Yea she's my first friend ever, she's the reason I became a ninja in the first place. Sensei said he can help me find her since her adopted parents made her move out of ninjago. I guess after I met Nya I lost sight of my true intention though...sorry y/n"

He smiled gently at me and I gently hit his arm.

"It's ok Ja-"

"Y/n! I swear if your flirting with the customers and not me I will fire you!"

I cringed and Jay glared at the voice.

"I-I'm not flirting! Just having a normal conversation with my old best friend!"

I heard mumbling but didn't hear anything more. I smiled at the guys.

"If he fires you let me know and I'll get him locked up for harassment on employees."

I nodded and smiled telling them to come again. I quickly entered Jays number then washed it off my hand. My boss would fire me if he saw it.
