Pathetic

They say we live forever in the mind of our loved ones. That been said do I really believe in this Shit, no freaking way. People forget people even when they had shared a special bond. Correct way of saying people move on leaving others behind, or they simply grow out of it or I don't know they just leave okay. And you will never know why it happened because they won't stick around to tell you why. They just leave. So no, no one lives forever after one point we all are just going to fade away, not knowing answers to most of our questions.

You ask if it bugs me. Hell yeah it does or more like it did now I am in peace with it.

Just like I am in Brooklyn in a cafe at 9:00 waiting for a person who.. Oh wait here he comes.

"I know I know I am late" taking his chair.

"I didn't say anything" I said taking a slip from my coffee.

He laughs "I know that face okay! I know you since we were children. Give me some credit" he waved for the waitress to get him a coffee.

"Yeah whatever, one hour Sam. Seriously one hour."

"I am sorry okay" he looks into my eyes as he says.

His eyes look so gorgeous, o Shit man.

I looked outside and said "fine."

"Well say cheese" and I hear a snap.

I roll my eyes as usual.

"At least try and look happy Alex"

I make up a fake smile.

"You will never change will you"

"and you changed in an instance" I just whispered it.

"What?"

"Nothing, how's college?"

"Well college is college, know NYU and parties" he said taking a slip.

I laughed. "You tell me Alex how's Columbia?"

"Well you know Columbia and its parties" I looked at my coffee "I know I know it was lame".

He rested his hand on my hand and laughed.

" I don't go out much, class, library, shooting, dome and repeat. Pretty much working on our new short film"

"That film club will be the death of you, live a little Alex". He checked his phone.

"Well I got to run".

"Text me when you reach your room"

"No Alex text me when you reach your dorm" I smiled and started finishing my coffee. I looked at my phone and its 9:20. I traveled one hour for 20 mins, Alex you are pathetic.

As I stepped outside the cafe, a drop of water hit my face and well we can say that my travel back to college wasn't very cheerful.

It's around 10 when I enter the dome area, thank god I decided to ride my car today or else I would have died.

As I reached my room, I can hear people fighting. "Oh no again" I opened the room preparing myself for another one of their stupid fights.

"Alex tell Steph that you also don't like it when she smokes in the room."

Placed my bag on my bed and i said "well that's true steph".

"You people aren't even in the room when I do it"

"Steph smoke stays" Nancy says with confidence now.

"Fine" she walked towards her bed and falls on it.

The sound of a Horn takes over the room, nancy pass me a look 'don't wait up' and walks out of the room to meet her boyfriend.

I look at my hand when steph says "There is pizza in kitchen"

"Thanks". Walking towards kitchen.

With the pizza box I sit on her bed and eats like crazy, driving makes me hungry.

"It's so good" I say while eating the pizza.

"I know..." steph looks at me like she is waiting for me to say something.

"What?"

She picks up her phone and "find my friend says you were in Brooklyn"

"Yeah I was there, it's not a crime" trying to look all dumb, showing that I don't understand what she actually means by that sentence.

"I know it's not a crime, but it's stupid of you to travel for an hour with the traffic I might add to Brooklyn. For what? a photo session."

I don't say anything, concentrating on eating.

"Alex seriously, you gotta stop this. If he is so desperate for the photo ask him to come this side. Not you traveling to the other side and I don't understand the photo thing, to be honest " She finishes her sentence with taking my pizza away so I can answer her.

"Steph he asked and I was free to I went there, it's not a big thing." Taking my pizza back "and the photo is for his mother, since she knows me. She wants to make sure he and I met once in awhile as we both are away from home and living in the same city. And it's also works in my favor since mom doesn't ask me for updates as his mother and mine are best friends" taking a bite "she keeps her updated for me".

"ah whatever it's stupid of you to go there, he should come here. That's all! next time he will come here. Which will be 26th Feb." She gets up from her bed. "Since you guys meet once a month for the photo session, he can come here."

"Steph.." "No you are pathetic okay! Do you like him or something?"

I choked on that pizza bite. "What no, he is like my good friend who I know since birth"

"Then I don't see the point of you traveling this much"

"Steph it's okay, I like meeting him"

"Aggggg you sound so pathetic" she roll her eyes. "Whatever next time he is coming to Columbia and I am going to welcome him" says with her evil smile.

"Fine steph as you wish" sticking my tongue.

"Now I am going to a frat party, care to join" she says picking up her jacket and keys.

"Nooopee"

"Who am I asking 'miss bookworm'" she does the air gesture with it.  "Anyway bye seeya" sending me a kiss as she is out of the door.

My phone vibrates

~ text from Sam.

Reached.

I throw my phone on my bed and pick up the book I was reading earlier Just one day by Gayle forman. After awhile I start feeling sleepy when my phone vibrates again

~ text from Lucy

Coming over in 10, don't you dare sleep.

I reply back

No I am very sleepy.

As I pressed send, there is a knock on my door. O shoot.

As i open the door Lucy gives me a hug and shows me a brown bag with a hearty smile.

Oh it's going to be a long night!
