At home sharing a bedroom
"Yay...homework" Angelica sarcastically says while dramatically flinging her body onto the bed. As she looks up she notices Eliza on the daybed staring out the window. She immediately knows who she is thinking about.
"Wow, he's got ya good doesn't he?"
"Wha-wha who? Huh?"
"That Alexander guy. You look like you're in love for godsake" Angelica spits out
"You're just jealous that I have a possible boyfriend on the first day"
"Me? Jealous? Of HIM? HAHA HAHAHAHA." Angelica bursts into laughter while Eliza gives her a look that could kill a man where he stands.
"Why would I be jealous of that?"
"Hmm I don't know. Nevermind then...I feel like we're forgetting something.." Eliza tries to think of what she has forgotten but can't seem to put her finger on it. So she looks curiously at Angelica.
"Well I hope you don't mean the dance because I'm sure we don't wa-"
"THE DANCE! OMG WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! Alexander's supposed to be picking me up at 9 and it's friggin 8:30?!!?"
Eliza frantically goes through her clothes until she finds the dress she has been dying to wear for a while now. She's been saving it for something special. The dress is a light shade of blue, and is cut off right above where her knees would be. It's a strapless dress, and separating the breasts from the stomach is a white ribbon which is tide around the waist of the dress.
"Well golly he must be really important to you" Angelica let's out a small chuckle of disappointment
"Yes..and you know what Angelica? I think I might be in love like you said. Ohh his eyes are so glossy. And his smile could melt anyone with sight. Ohh I just want to dance and twirl with him during the slow song...and when he pulls me in close..we'll lean in an-"
"ELIZA IT'S 8:40 NOW!"
"OH! Goodness my makeup okay um I'll settle for a thin eyeliner wing with a light color nude eyeshadow. Ah yes this looks nice. I'll leave my hair down. I hope he likes how I look.."
Eliza goes into a deep thought, could she really love this man? She's only a freshmen afterall..what would she really know about love?
"He's here!" Angelica says excitedly, almost too excitedly.
"Okay okay I'm coming down!"
Ah yes here's the second chapter. Alex and Eliza are going to a dance and it's obvious something is wrong with Angelica. Let's hope she's okay. Maybe things will turn up soon for her. But it looks like Eliza has it all working out and falling into place don't you think? Let's see if that lasts.
